He makes you write a lot and expects you to be able to write extensively on topics that I feel could be explained in a couple sentences. I didn't really like the class but it wasn't terrible either. Although his lectures can be boring, his class is very easy as long as you show up and do the work. When it comes to writing critiques, I always made an appointment with him and he'll gladly look over it and give you tips to write an A paper. Definitely take Lang!

Lang is the sweetest man you'll ever meet. He is extremely knowledgable about the world of theatre. He is a genius set/lighting designer. I mean seriously, come to the theatre and check out one his shows that he's designed. AMAZING! He will go out of his way to help you with whatever you need. His classes may be boring, but he has alot to teach you

Boring lectures that make you want to shoot yourself, very easy A so long as you attend the class and manage not to shoot yourself. Gives you every opportunity for an easy A, makes makes it possible to get 600/500 points AND still has even more extra credit built in. Lectures are actually unnecessary to pass but ya gotta go for the extra credit. Be sure to take a laptop/iPad/iPhone that's connected via wifi as you won't get any signal in his class. Overall putting up with him is worth the easy A

i guess im the only one who loves this guy i liked threater in high school and find him interresting you have to go to class and listen to what he has to say and you can pass no problem he wont return emails that the only problem ive had with him the class is just him talking about his past theater projects and you whatching alot of movies

I honestly find it funny that the administration would keep a badgering old man around. He has very little to offer to students, and any questions that you would ask he changes the answer to make him look right. Even as a person he is mean, belligerent, and likes to destroy anyone's thoughts. If you have talent he will hate you.

Horribly boring. I mean Oh My God is he boring. He just rambles on and on and on. I slept through most of the class. He also seems to hate it when you berate some of his "actors" performances in the plays. Even though he says to be honest. It is an easy A if you can stand the mind numbing lectures.

Lang is insane. He's burnt out and needs a break for a while. He's a great chair.. is good at what he does in theatre.. but not exactly teacher material. He gets really confused and students have to help him with words sometimes. He's nice sometimes.

He is a nice guy in class. He is pretty helpful, but he is not clear as to what is on the tests and whatnot. THE 101 has all of the theatre professors and it is a difficult class just for the simple fact that there are only 5 tests and thats IT!!!
