Thought I'll post a recent comment. He gives out lecture notes so you don't have to write a single thing which allows you to pay attention to what he says. You don't need the text either, so save yourself a 100bucks. everything you need is in his lecture notes. 4 exams, no papers.

The guy is a great teacher. Would not move on until everyone knew what they were doing. I think the class was hard. I didn't buy the book, ended up with a B-. With a little more studying probably could have easily pulled off B+. Took in the summer so everything was condensed. Great guy, cool teacher

I loved the way he taught. He made concepts clear and easy to understand. Fair grader. He is a pretty cool person. I enjoyed the class because he was a great teacher. I toke him Summer05. I got an A. Still have to study.

Nice, and easy. Explains stuff well, and will go over anything if you don't understand it. Tests are a little hard, you have to really understand the concepts, but the homework and quizzes are easy.

I was so scared to take this class because I am horrible with math, but this class was really easy. He explained things really well and gave a lot of examples. You could use the front of a piece of paper with anything written on it for the tests, which were really helpful. Extra credit offered.

he's an amaaing man and teacher. he makes everything make sense and he will not move on until the entire class gets the material. he's always there to help and he gives study guides. do the hmwk and you'll do well on the tests. attendance isn't mandatory.
