Horribly boring. Talks about dumb stuff then races through calculations. Has annoying habits like tapping chalk, studders. In week 9 of the semester & no exams or assignments at all so far..how am i doing? Who knows? Def regret taking this class! Get someone else for operations!!!!!!!!!!

To do well in this class, it seems as though you must take it once, flunk, then retake. He is hard to understand, not clear in his expectations, and distracts me with idiosyncratic behavior. By the way, ops management is all statistics.

Professor Jensen isn't the easiest to understand but he is willing to help you whenever you need it. I ended up with an A only because I redid the handouts 3-4 times before exams and asked for extra worksheets to practice. If you don't take the time to study or go to class you won't do well

Are u guy talking about the same prof that i took?I failed stat 1st time around& retook w/Jenson.I learned more in the first week w/ him then i did all semester last time.Those of u who say he moves too quickly,try taking Sraiheen.Jenson will take the time to explain any problem if u just ask.STAT is difficult,dont blame the prof..just work harder

Statistics = tough class, he makes it tougher. Very poor handwriting, doesn't do the best job explaining things, and no posted office hours except 11:00 TH. Willing to help if you can make those office hours. 1 Review session but he doesn't help, just gives an extra sheet. I wouldn't recommend. Earned a tough, tough A. Had to study a lot for exams!

His class is pretty tough. The exams are 8 Multi/C and 4-5 Problems. Does not give partial credit for the problems, so I got 1 wrong, and part C of another wrong = 70% exam score. Hard to understand in class and his writing is HORRIBLE. A very nice guy though, very willing to help out! Stats gets harder as semester goes on. Study his handouts!!!

Prof Jensen is a nice guy, but lots of times he flies through material without explanation, esp toward the end of the semester. Try to get a very good grade on the first exam (pretty easy if u study) because it's all downhill from there. It's a must to do all the handouts, see tutoring (very helpful), and go to the review sessions. good luck.

Jensen is a super nice guy & funny. He tried to make the class enjoyable, I just could not get into stats. Don't miss class because you'll be lost, do all the homework to keep up & try to make it to the review sessions before tests!!

Took him for the summer course and it was pretty easy. The SAS assignment was a breeze only if you had no clue would you get stuff messed up completely. You will find that many of the students in his class have taken him before. The information is painfully boring, and Jensen uses the same exact problems year after year (i would know, i've taken him twice haha). Study your ass off, and utilize his tutoring sessions. Be happy with a D :)

it's kind of unfair that the kids that get to register for classes early all get hvidding, a good teacher, for this class. Jensen is just plain terrible. I do not really have anything good to say. Take hvidding if you can. It will make you understand the material better and thus your grade will be better too

Stats is a killer and he is not going to lower his expectations because of it.MOST DEF.IT WILL TAKE YOU MORE THAN ONE SEMESTER TO GET IT RIGHT AND WALK OUT WITH A DECENT GRADE unless you are really briliant to get an A at the 1st shot.Dont buy WSJ-you can get it at the library despite his statement(save$30).At the end of semester you will know why.

He reminds me of Walter Mathow and talks like a surfer; crazy mixture. He loves Stats and is cool for the most part. Stat's is hard. I studied my a** off for the 1st test and still got an F. I don't know how that happened. Went to class everyday, took tons of notes, did the worksheets, tutoring, ask tons of ?'2 in class. Good luck!
