This guy is hard to read. One minute he is helpful the next he'll slam the door in your face. He gives all the answers to the lecture portion of the test so don't bother writing down everything, just focus on the specific questions/answers. That is all you need to remember. Know the answers verbatium, he is looking for key phrases in book/lecture.

To respond to the person who complained- I would say that using the book is still essential for the class. Not just to get an A but to take some valuable information from the book that the prof doesn't go into detail.I like Kurdek, he lays it out for you which removes the guesing game for the exam-giving more time to prepare and actually learn.

This is a very easy A,if you put forth the effort. Dr.Kurdek provides all of the test questions for the book and lectures on the first day of class. He provides the answers to lectures questions during his lecture. The only problem with those who leave negative feedback against Dr. Kurdek is that they are lazy.

This class should be an easy A but he assigns a $100 book which has maybe 3 of 30 points on his test. The rest is from the lecture notes which he doesn't post or give out for review and he dually penalizes absent students by taking attendance. While acceptable for lower level class work in my experience it is not proper for upper level classes.

Very good teacher, explains everything & is clear about what he wants you to know. Very helpful & will explain things as many times as it takes for you to understand. If you go to class you will get an easy A. Test questions are provided at the beginning of the quarter. He makes the class interesting. Definately one of my favorite professors.

Krudek is a decent closet case of a teacher to those who can go to class all the time. His attendance policy will hurt you and he won't budge on it no matter what. My test earned me an A average but for missing 5 days he knocked down to a C! So if you are like me and can't make class all the time don't sign up for it!

Good prof: his lectures are well-organized and he focuses the reading material for you via providing test questions beforehand. Vocally easy to understand & explains concepts thoroughly, often using video examples. I would recommend him, but I feel he tended to steer the class a bit to favor the Nursing majors rather than the Psych majors & minors.

He was a great teacher to have first thing in the morning. you do have to go to every class to get the exact answers to the test questions. if you dont miss class(he takes attendance daily), he will give you 3 points at the end. Easy A!

This was one of my favorite classes/profs at WSU. If you have the opportunity to take Kurdek go for it, you won't be sorry. My only prob was that his class is early and he expects you to follow his train of thought, hard if you aren't a morning person.

i was able to pay attn. at 8 am. his exams are very easy. short answer, but you know all of the questions ahead of time. i can take an exam in 10 min. i got a 98 average. i recommend him!
