Get ready for long, monotone lectures. Your opinion will not matter. You will not get an A on a paper unless you kiss his ass repeatedly. He basically reads from the power points while interjecting his own opinion (which often contradicts the book). He will actively discourage you and tell you to drop out. Get out while you can.

He does very well at explaining why the context of any class is important to know and helps you see things in a new way. He also has highly entertaining stories. There is usually a lot of reading but you will learn a lot.

These comments all sound like they're left by a group of 12 year old girls. That's who this fella appeals to. He's quite unhelpful and really gave me the impression that he's only hear for a paycheck. As an advisor he failed miserably. I transfered to Pitt and have learned more in a semester than in several years at La Roche.
