I took this class with Larry.. Failed. Took it again with a new instructor.. got an A! Larry is a horrible instructor. He expects everyone to understand just because he knows what he's talking about, but doesn't show much attention to his students. Makes you feel stupid. I DO NOT recommend him at all!

In o92 & 096 I had straight A's and was enjoying math until I took Larry. I think he is one of the worse teacher's I have ever had! He is rude and very condesending to anyone who doesn't understand how he teaches. He goes to fast and doesn't explain anything clearly. DON"T TAKE THIS TEACHER! HE IS A HORRIBLE TEACHER!

Larry is very laid back, and likes to make class fun. I used to have a really hard time in math, but he does just the right amount of explaining to where you really understand it. my only advice is DO YOUR HOMEWORK. It takes like 20 minutes at the most!

Larry is an awesome professor and all around awesome guy. He has a great sense of humor and likes to make Algebra fun! Write down all his noted because you will see a lot of it on his tests. He loves fractions but he walks you through them and makes them easy. I wish I could've took him for MTH 119 but whatev! I 100%^ recommend him to anyone!!

Larry is by far going to be one of the few professors I will miss. He made learning algebra fun. Great attitude and an overall exceptional guy! Take notes and follow along in class. Lots that he lectures on he uses on the tests. Quizes and tests are easy as long as you take notes and do your homework. Yeah he doesn't grade the HW, but still do it!

Larry is an AMAZING professor. I was doing terrible through the 1st half of the semester, then pulled a complete 360 &passed the class, once I started doing the homework. It helps, even if he doesn't collect it. He calls on people who pay attention/ask questions. He's very blunt & to the point. He helped me understand things I never grasped before.

I have Larry right now, I think he is great. I have not had math in 23 years and he helped whenever I needed it. The problem with some people is he is not going to hold your hand and help you pass. He is the best math teacher I could of asked for.I suggest him for anybody, just d your homework and pay attention.

I loved math before I took this class. I have all A's in all other classes. I think Larry should stop teaching. Somepeople rerally like him but, that's becuase they are getting good grades. p.s. he has a 75% fail rate. keep that in mind.

Worst teacher I've had at Delta! Teaches nothing from the book, and says "You're on your own." if you have problems. He was smug, and only called on the 2 kids who had an A. He teaches fast, and only helps with some homework problems before class. Then the problems are way harder on the test. Take him if you want to fail, and drop your GPA.

he was a horrible professor. he did not teach out of the book so it was hard to follow. Did two sections per 1hour class period. do not take this class with him, unless you know a lot about trig. Really does not explain things. Class grade is based on quizzes and tests, tests are taken in the testing center and not in class. First failed class ever

DO NOT TAKE!! Very rude if you have a question makes you feel dumb when answering. Pretty much goes over material in class says do hw and doesnt check it. Goes over problems in class u have and thats it. Once he teaches it he says your on your own im not going over it again. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE. no retakes on test. MUST COME!!

NEVER TAKE A SATURDAY MORNING CLASS!!EVER. I have much to high of a math class prior to this, so I personally did not learn much. I found his lectures to be more pointed to the older students in the class. Making references I at 18 didn't quite understand. Also his class is not for the faint of heart, he will tell you more than you wanted to know.

Larry is quite possibly one of the most crystal clear math instructors I have ever had. On top of that, he realizes that if you do well then he does well. I managed to fail this same material twice in high school, yet he somehow made it make sense. Just do the homework, practice, and use your head and you'll be fine.

Larry is a great teacher he wants his students to learn. Some people think he teaches too fast but you just have to have the mind to keep up. Never take him for a spring/summer unless you already have some knowledge about the class otherwise you will be lost. He is a good teacher just make sure you pay attention. I would suggest him for sure!

Good guy, but would not reccommend him for a spring/summer class. I'm great at math, but the info crammed into 7 weeks is rediculous! I'm sure it's not his fault, but the the spring 121 class was just a HUGE headache for me!! Don't do it!

Perhaps the single best math teacher I have ever had the pleasure to learn under. He teaches you why something works the way it does. But if you aren't interested in learning, don't waste his (or anyone else's) time.

Larry is a nice guy, although sometimes the things he says creep/gross me out. As a teacher he is pretty good, I think that he takes to long to explain what we are working on. He can talk for almost the whole class on how to approch the assignment, and at the last minute finally show you how its done!
