I've tried to take as many classes as possible with this guy (Ornithology, Herpetology, and Wildlife Ecology). In my view he has the most educational classes in the department, and has reasonable expectations of his students. Amongst students he is generally regarded as having the most entertaining lectures, as well. I recommend him highly.

if anxiety production were a gem, this man is a diamond. I found him to be very scattered in his presentations, and to be ambiguous. However, he is hopping full of energy and leads a good hike.
