As a student interest in forensic anthropology i did not find her class to be very helpful and yes she is very scatter brained and her class is difficult. however she is incredibly helpful out side of class and will go out of her way show you to help you show interest and are willing to do some work

DO NOT TAKE HER!!! I was a complete idiot for not following the advice on this site. Her tests are absolutely ridiculous, as said before, they have no structure and are quite impossible. Her first exam is easy and led me to believe that it would be an easy class. Ya, not quite. I have a 4.0 and this will be my first C. DO NOT DO NOT take Cahue!!!

Her grading scale is ridiculous. I do not know another professor that has a grading scale of 94 = A, ESPECIALLY with material this hard. She talks WAY TOO FAST when giving a lecture, does NOT post the Powerpoints, and expects you to know every word. Very scattered and disorganized, and will not slow down so we can get the notes. Avoid at all costs!

Okay, so I've had worse professors this semester. She knows her field, and is very intelligent, but just doesn't seem happy about teaching. The only big complaint I have was with the 2nd test: she was 20 minutes late on test day and then it was like she just made up an exam off the top of her head that was awful. we had a redo. she's okay.

IMPOSSIBLE! She is impossible. Her class is impossible. I was valedictorian of my highschool class and I'm a straight A student, and I still found her class impossible. As sweet a person as she is, (and she really is very nice) she cannot, I repeat, CANNOT teach. Take home tests were awful--no guidelines; zero structure. AWFUL. Don't take her!

If you like structure, don't take this class. You don't follow the syllabus at all in this class. I think we are a few weeks behind, but then again we jump all over the place. You never know when you have a test. It just happens. They are take home tests, but take home means 5-6page paper that analyze data or something along those lines. It has the

She is extremely rude and generally incoherent. She calls on students randomly and makes a big deal if they do not know the answer and in general makes class unbearable by butchering an otherwise interesting topic. Also FYI she takes a whloe letter grade off your final grade if you miss 4 classes.

This class is insane! She cancells class without letting anyone know even when she KNOWS she won't be there. Notes don't follow the book, taking notes are impossible because she makes no sense and interrupts class. BIG over sharer. You learn all about her bodily functions and the withdrawl symptoms of Oxycontin.

Class should be interesting - but she makes it miserable. She was always late - if she even showed up at all. To be honest - her tests aren't terribly difficult because she's pretty straight out of her notes - but getting the notes is hard because she goes so fast. Extreme rude to student in the class,NEVER prepared, hard to follow, not helpful.

TERRIBLE. Worse class i've taken in college, mostly because of her. She is all over the place and for history, that's a bad thing. Test are hard and not covered on the 'study guide.' I would strongly recommend you stay away from her if you want you 400 dollars to actually go towards something, i didn't learn a thing in that class.

Though the material would have been interesting, it was jumbled and disorganized. She jumped around constantly, and never seemed to have a cohesive lecture prepared. Plus, I found all of her lectures were plagarized from the internet!! She starts class 5 minutes early and takes role daily!! Avoid her classes if at all possible.

Had her for 3 classes (not by choice): Human Evolution, Physical Anthro, Stats for Anthro. Has a tendency to talk down to her classes, I think she may have personal issues. Always chooses to have 8 o'clock classes, and yell at people about being late. In a 500 level class, I've seen her yell at people as old as she is or older. Always seems to be slightly bewildered.

This teacher is all over the place. Never on time. She covers the same materail over and over. She is very rude and disrespectfull. She came to class on the day of the 1st exam 20 min. late and did not have enought test, students had to make arrangements to go to her office. Her class is a waste of time and money. Never returns any grades.
