Comment:

While he has plenty of good experience in the accounting world, he often fails to relate it to what is in the course. He often came came to class ill-prepared and did not seem to care about the quality of lectures. Attendance is not required. There is a fair amount of homework, but it is impossible to fail this class as he grades on a curve.

This is for his managerial ACTG course. If you're an accounting major and can teach yourself by practicing the problems and reading the chapter, just show up for the tests. He hardly EVER fails anyone. If you're taking this b/c its required like I did and you despise accounting, look elsewhere. You'll be hard pressed to focus in his class.

The test questions are very similar to questions from the book or homework. He grades on a curve and doesnt fail anyone unless you do basically nothing all year. You have to teach yourself a lot in this class as he gets distracted sometimes and doesnt use class time effectively. Hes a good guy though and cares about his students.

He's a great guy and is willing to help with anything you're having trouble on. I struggle with accounting courses but he always had an open door and guided me throughout the course. The test have a lot of problems to work on them but they aren't super bad. Make sure you do the homework because it'll save your grade in the end. He curves the class.

Not the greatest at teaching the material, so you'll have to do a lot of reading from the textbook in order to understand the material. However, he answers any and all questions you have, so I recommend doing the reading before the lectures so you can take advantage of asking as many questions as you want. Very large curve at the end.

Smart guy, nice guy, but not very organized and not very enthusiastic. Class was typically boring and he didn't seem interested in making it interesting. Type of prof who you either love his class or don't, and I didn't.

He cares about his students, uses real-life examples and brings information about outside-of-class opportunities. He knows the content, but doesn't teach/relay it the best to the class. The exams are pretty tough, but the weekly homework helps.

Great guy. He seems like hes not too into teaching anymore...as he was once retired, but he still makes it more interesting then most accounting teachers. Has a huge curve which really makes the class pretty easy. Overall I liked him!

hes a cool guy who still knows what college is about and is very nice. Would recommend taking this class bc no one fails who takes all of the tests but he is retireing. His C's list is about 6 pags long for all of his classes as he grades on an awesome scale. Good luck in the future Lee

He's a nice guy, but not a good teacher! Like mentioned before he never stays on the topic, his tests don't relate to his discussions and he's never prepared for class...has to re-do numbers, etc. I would suggest someone else...

He treats you like you are 1st graders. He's very boring and he gets off subject 80% of the time. His tests are easy but if you really want to learn the acct. I would suggest taking it with someone else. And also you have to go to Sat. classes, which really sucks!

Worth taking just because he is a funny guy. Tests aren't very hard if you read the book. He doensn't explain things very well and can be very boring. Class is pretty pointless except for listening to him tell his stories. All around good guy and you can tell he cares about students.

Pretty easy, don't really need to go to class. He doesn't explain things very well tho, and he FREQUENTLY messes up examples he goes over. He admits to missing questions on the tests. Tests are short and only over 2 chapters at a time. Not too bad at all, just boring!

Very bad teacher, seems like a nice enough guy, sometimes very funny. He's just never prepared for class, does problems incorrectly and ends up confusing people. I would strongly suggest against taking this class with theis teacher.

He is awsome. He has a good sense of humor too. I would advise anyone to take him because he explains hard topics very well.
