This was for my capstone at Walsh, and I did this course online. The class is definitely a lot of work, and Dr. Frost is a tough grader. However, I believed she gave good feedback on what improvements were needed for your assignments. If you do the assigned work, and take advantage of the extra credit you'll be fine.

I took Dr. Frost for all four classes in the strategic management path at Walsh. She does give a lot of material to read and provides assignments that stretch your abilities but she also tailors the classes to be meaningful to the students that are in the class. In class discussions make for great opportunities for students to learn from each other

Dr. Frost is one of a kind and I truly believe that Walsh College should consider itself lucky (and you too) to have a professor like Dr. Frost. If you want to be successful in your life, make sure you take this course with Dr. Frost. You will learn a ton. She is the real deal!!! I know I will miss her dearly! Best of luck to all!

Complaints about this class are the online version, I hear it's very confusing. The onground version is way less confusing, the discussions are great and it's much easier. There isn't as much work online because of in class discussions. Workload is manageable. If you do the work, you will pass. She is very nice, quite fair and you will learn a ton.

MGT461 Online Frost Heaviest workload Ive ever had in a class. Textbook is broken up into online downloadable PDF files. DQs are about a 10-page double spaced paper each week but you use them to build your case study which is 20-30 pages. Weekly quizzes and final were fairly easy. Frost was very prompt, helpful, and a fair grader. Recommended!

She means well I believe but is way too harsh! You have discussions every week that are basically four page papers and you will never get 100% on them even if you answer every question. The reading is irrelevant and there is a lot of it. The only positive is there is a lot of bonus to make up for the unbelievable horrid grades she will give you.

I took the class entirely online, and it was not difficult. It was just busy work! There is a lot to do. I did not read one bit of the required readings and did just fine. I believe that I would have received an "A" if they were able to provided timely feedback, however, that is far from the case. As others mention, it takes weeks to get feedback.

The buzz around campus is that this class is way to hard and way too much work. Well it is hard, however if you simply type two pages a week you huge paper is basically done at the end of the semester. Be proactive and you will be fine. Dr. Frost is not trying to fail anyone. The weekly quiz in my opinion is pointless but bonus points are available

You are offered extra credit discussions and you had better participate if you don't want to deal with passive aggressive notes in your gradebook. Reading all of the material is essential, but the e-book is expensive for a downloadable PDF; buy the physical copy so you don't feel like you wasted money. The group project ties into your final paper.

Extremely hard class. There are two professors that teach this class, yet they graded the first three weeks of homework in week six. They make it very hard for you to learn from your mistakes. They are not helpful. Participate, cite, study and read is the best advice. Oh, and put aside 30 hours a week to get through the class. I passed. Somehow.

Class is listed under Dr. McHann, the entire class is lectured, graded and instructed by Prof Frost (tough grader). Living Case Study 30 pages, along with a cumulative final exam. Weekly quiz's and weekly research plus group DQ's. Way to much work to actually learn anything. Spend at least 20+ hours a week. Good Luck!!!!!

Walsh college should seriously look into firing this prof. if they want to keep students coming to their college. She is rude, and over works her student and vaugue with requirments. Worst teacher ive had in 19 years of schooling. Please fire her and get a prof that wants students to learn and succeed.

More of a critique of the class than the professor but an INSANE amount of work. If you want to read 750+ pages of a book without much help, you can do it for less than the cost of tuition. If the instructor was actually required to lecture on this material in a traditional class, there is NO WAY this amount of information could be covered.

If your not ready to have 12+ hours of homework per week avoid this class. I felt as though she did not care that students are working to pay her salary she just wants to cover the book front to back. More professors need to realize that students work to pay their salaries and to make the workload appropriate for learning and success.

I took it as a blended class (on line and on ground) and it was "ok" at best. While I did learn, most of it was up to me and the book. Grading of assignments (other than those scored on line)was not done even by the end of class.

Laura is organized, interesting, and genuinely enjoys the subjects she is teaching. If you are willing to twist yourself into an intellectual pretzel you will do great. Laura is the opposite of an unorganized professor who disguises poor quality with a heavy work load and being nit picky. I would take her again, because she is among the best.
