I cant express in words how much I loved learning from this professor. Shes very intelligent, offers help always, and gives you vouchers for those days when you cant complete an assignment on time or need to take a break from the class. I loved her, shes great, trust me... you wont regret taking her. (Unless youre a really pessimistic alien.)

I absolutely love this professor. I would take every class with her if i could. She is soft spoken, but super awesome. She grades the critiques and questions on books you read easy. I got an A without reading any of the books she assigned. Its a wonderful environment and I would recommend taking this class with her, you learn alot.

Such an easy A class as long as you go. Critiques are done anonymously which is nice. She is very soft spoken but grades easy. I never read a single book and received an A- in the class. She cancelled class a lot when it snowed. Very laid back and simple class. Some days it was a little boring.

If you're going to take eng220, take it with Halferty and nobody else. The class is really easy and all about pop culture so we just watch movies and music videos. She makes it very interesting a relatable to us. Very laid back and chill, helpful if you approach her. Easy class and you don't need the textbook. Can be absent 4 times.

She is young and cool. She looks like a skinner version of Melissa McCarthy with red hair. Just two big essays. One is a memoir and one about the world. It's easy and she really tries and helps you become a better writer.

This class was great! We didn't do much besides viewing ads and discussing their significance, but I still felt like I learned a lot. The two assignments and final paper were actually fun to write. Laura is a fairly easy grader, too. She WANTS you to do well. So if you put in the effort, you'll definitely get the grade you deserve. Take her class!

This class was really interesting and enjoyable! Laura is such a nice professor and really relates well to her students. There are 2 major papers and a final project. Lots of reading sometimes, but they are captivating and intriguing. I really liked this class and would definitely take another one with Laura!

Laura makes English super easy. She picks some really great pieces for the class to read, some in the book and some through links. If you read the pieces and pay attention to the elements in them you will be fine. 2 papers, 1 test and a project is all that makes up the class, the papers & tests are super easy if you understand elements of fiction.

I ABSOLUTELY love her! She is very funny and young, so she understands students and the way we think. She's not big at all on attendance and it's very easy to do well in this class. A lot of what we talk about is very interesting and there isn't much work AT ALL! I definitely recommend her; she's great!

The class is a relative cakewalk. Just hand everything in, doesn't even have to be on time. She's not too harsh with the grades, so if you're not a creatvie writer don't worry about it. The English department has the six absence rule, which is not enforced. Plus, she's an amazingly attractive professor, so there's an incentive to go to class.
