I love this professor... but for all the wrong reasons. I have taken 3 of her classes and have not learned a thing. She will cancel class after a test or large assignment because she takes a long time to grade. Each class has been a waste of my time. We never did anything in any class and she procrastinates more than I do.

I have never hated a teacher more. She didn't help with anything. If you had a problem she would just talk down to you until you felt stupid and you were "always wrong". I didn't learn anything because it was so boring and hard to comprehend. She plays favorites. Her tests are Brown Nose her or Fail. Do not take it from her if you get the choice.

This professor is the worst. She makes excuses for EVERYTHING (getting tests back to you as well as assignments and doesn't let you know if there's a problem until it's practically too late.) She is especially useless when you go out of your way to ask her for help, she says she will, then does not. Classes = waste of time.

How did she get placed in charge of an Ethics Class? Talk to a professor you trust before taking any classes she teaches. I know of 2 whom will recommend avoiding her classes; she is unorganized usually late, and worst of all full of excuses. Her grading methods are random and entirely based on her opinion of you. Don't take her classes.

Judging by the negative comments left by prior students, I think Dr. Terlip has dramatically changed her teaching style. Terlip does a great job of involving students in class discussion and I actually liked the group project. The class had 4 tests of different styles, and it was interesting to know what style students learned from best.

Unless you feel like getting up early every morning just for her to cancel class...I would HIGHLY recommend taking someone else if possible!! In the time it takes for her to grade/return assignments you could have probably written 3 more papers. By all means don't ask the woman questions...she will just get frustrated and yell. DO NOT TAKE HER!!

Not a good professor at all!! Doesn't give you the time of day. Makes judgements about you and then sticks to them the whole semester. Does not grade objectively. Take someone else if you can, for your own good!

really hard tests, lots of group work that seems unnecessary, i think a lot of us passed b/c there were so many people waiting to get into class that it wasn't feasible for people to retake it
