A wonderful teacher. I took all three classes that she offered. When I took her classes, in '02, the problems mentioned by other reviewers weren't evident. She was a good friend, even after I was done with her classes. I was informed that she had passed away recently, from a stroke. She will be missed.

Her class was extremely easy. Chances for extra credit work are always available (only up to 15 points, but that's well enough to raise an exam grade from a D to an A). Her exams are only 40 points, and they're very simple. Attendance in her class is mandatory (she passes a roll sheet around). Final is easier than easy. Piece of cake for an easy A.

I had Valvatne for an online class and she was fantastic. (she's a little nutty but isnt that a requirement to be a psychologist?) Easy class and her textbook was actually very interesting. I am taking from her again next semester.

Slightly crazy, but a pretty good teacher overall. She tends to forget what she's saying mid-sentence, and she has forgotten to come to class a few times.. but I'm not complaining. There's also very little homework and it doesn't matter how late you turn it in. And the final is SO easy!

Oh my god. I can't believe they still let her teach. She loses her train of thought a lot and sometimes will forget what day it is and won't come to class. Her classes are incredibly boring and you get kinda pissed that you have to be there listening to her pointless lectures. It was pretty easy though.

It's pretty easy, I got an A and I'm a self proclaimed slacker. Be advised, she does take roll, but I didn't go much anyway. When I took it there was good ratio of hot girls/me and a couple other guys. For the final project, just draw a picture and act like it has some significance.
