Comment:

It's easy to get an A if you do the reading. Her lectures are strong, grade based on paper and quizzes. But to kill time she will have you do really juvenile in class work, and the quizzes aren't about your opinion or insight on the reading, it's literally to make sure you did it, so the questions are inane, even in upper level classes.

Oh Lauren Cobb... She so far is my favorite professor of all time. She might be difficult with her daily quizzes but if you do the reading you'll pass. She actually made me like poetry... I hated poetry. If you like english and writing, she is definitely a must have professor.

Dr. Cobb is amazing!! She is hilarious and sarcastic. I think I learned more about writing in her class than all of my other English classes combined. She is pretty chill and progressive. You'll have writing assignments for everyday of class, but it is like one paragraph, so don't worry. You'll learn a lot from her!

I've taken both College WritingI & Writing Fiction I with Cobb. She is hands down my favorite professor at BSU. Her sense of humor is dry and sometimes dimented. Her knowledge of that which she teaches is bountiful. She is encouraging and straightforward. I would reccommend Cobb to anyone interested in writing.
