He is a good professor. you have a lot of reading in his class, but if you keep up with it and take good notes in class you will do fine. the tests are essay form and for the first one he gives you the questions to study. he tries to help you do well in this class. if you dont plan on doing the reading, dont take the class.

There is a lot of reading, and if you don't do the reading you WILL NOT get a good grade. You really need to study everything otherwise you won't do good, even if he tells you one thing, there will be something else on the test! Ok class, a lot of lecture, all essay, be prepared for pop quizzes!

Ridiculous class with all essays for exams - there are only 3 exams - no retakes - if you don't know the answer to one question you're ****ed. Final is take home - it's what saved me. Never take this class. Ever.

wow, this class blew! and like wickedly so. this class brought done my 3.0. i went to all but 2 of the classes, participated in discussions, read, and wrote my ass off on the tests and ended up with a C- for the term. now, considering i got a 3.1 one with all my other classes, u can see how rediculous impossible this class is. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Professor Gross is the most biased teacher I have ever had. I took really good notes and read all the required readings and got an F on my first exam. I don't know if he scales. I wouldn't take the course if you want an easy elective.
