His explanation is not clear enough and hard to follow but you can visit his office during the office hour. There are 3 exams, 3 quizes, 1 group presentaion and the final. You better visit his office to check your ppt before the presentation. Final exam is tough and you have to use full 3 hours.

He has lots of real life experience on International Business, which makes the class pretty enjoyable. 3 exams & 1 presentation. The last one was kinda tough but pretty much everything on the exams are from the lecture or slides. Go to class, take notes (!!!), invest 20-30 minutes before quiz, 1.5 hour before exams (1 &2) than you'll be fine...!!

Horrible grader. No partial credit and he says he scales yet he doesn't. 3 exams, 3 quizzes, and 1 presentation. Nothing easy about this class. He throws all curve balls, everything is different from test. I believe most ppl in my class ended up with c or lower.

He is the first horrible pro. that i ever meet in Umass Lowell. 3 quizzes, 3 exam, 1 presentation, 1 summary. It sounds easy. But Please dont be FOOL. He is the toughest grader. No partial credit, 0 or 10. He makes fun at student as they are donkeys. Teaching methods are so terrible. I repent when i pick his class. Hoping the school has more choice

Professor Kim tries to be funny to get the classes attention, I don't think he realizes they're laughing more at him than with him. His tests are really hard and his quizzes are pretty much passfail since they're only 5 questions. I struggled throughout the whole class and had more than a couple students withdraw from my class during the semester.

Class is very good, he is very funny and teaches well. You may have to work a bit to understand the material; that is just the nature of international finance because there is two sides to everything. You can easily do a problem exactly the opposite way it needs to be done. However, he explains it decently well.

Professor Kim is a really funny guy. He doesn't like class to be too dull, and he has a very humorous side to him. The class material is difficult. His notes can be helpful, but practicing the problems through Excel will help you more. Do any extra credit he assigns, and discuss your country presentation with him prior to show. Study the quizes.

Interesting teaching style, and class is a party with coffee and doughnuts. He will go over anything that you have questions with and is very clear on the concepts. Quizzes and tests are tricky and you need to know your**** to do well on them. The class may seem hard at times but he is a great teacher.

Great guy got the class coffee and donuts for the final. Study well for the quizes and exams. The guy is fun and makes the class entertaining. And not to mention he's a great scaler.

This professor rocks! He explains everything so clearly that it basically is Barney Style! His TA doesnt help much, but its cool. He tries to make the class easy, as long as you study you'll do fine!
