Comment:

Lectures seemed to drag a bit but I do like Dr. zoeckler as a person. He uses examples from his experiences teaching to help apply the info. Two exams make up the bulk of your grade, though, and the textbook is essential. If you email him for help, he will help you like no other! Very kind and helpful and the fieldwork is built in which is great!

Dr. Zoeckler is probably one of the nicest teachers at UC. The class (data-based decision making) is king of boring, but he uses personal stories that make it fun. Very fair.

Data Based could be REALLY BORING- yet he is fantastic. The class IS HARD PERIOD.Read the book.It helps.You will come in to class with a head start and he will guide you the rest of the way. Great examples. Good sense of humor. A fantastic teacher. Even with the difficulty of the class, I REALLY enjoyed it.

Dr. Zoeckler was a great teacher. He has gotten a bad rap for giving "a lot of work", which really is untrue. He is a fair and just grader. He made our classroom discussions interesting by sharing fun stories to help relate the material. I admit, the course material was dry, however I learned a lot.
