Extremely easy A. 3/4 tests count, tons of extra credit with homeworks and in class assignments. All multiple choice tests. Terribly boring, some of it is cool material but she makes it painful to get through.

She seems like a very nice person, but she is terribly boring. The material is extremely easy, she simply drones on about it with no class discussion and only occasionally breaks it up with movies from the 70's about coastal habitats. And you can't even skip class because you never know when she's going to collect the class exercises.

I thought this class would be easy, but attendance is 20% of your grade which sucks because Laurie is boring. I liked her but the material was just so incredibly dry that I had trouble staying awake. Test format is cool because you can work with other people on 25% of it. Okay gened overall.

om goodness this was one of the most boring classes I have ever taken at umass! She is a very intellegent lady, with a very unintelligent way of teaching! Couldn't have been more boring! lectured for full hr and 15 min classes. By the end most people would just get up and leave!

Typical gen ed...test questions ambigious and vague. However, there is pyramid testing. Go to class, do the assignments, and you should be fine.

Pretty dull, but easy. Best 4/5 tests.Lowest grade dropped. Easy WebCT assignments. Some extra credit available. Essentially she'll put something on the board using powerpoint, and just read everything back to you. A final is manditory. Typical gen ed.
