Comment:

relies on her slides and can't seem to answer a question clearly. Very tough grader. if she asks for 350-400 words to describe a less than hour long lecture because she was late and you write 300 words she deducts serious points. If she sees you having trouble she won't make an effort to see why you're stuck.

Tough grader. Does not allow you to see what answers you missed on quizzes, midterm test, and homework. Weekly quiz you have 15 mins to complete. Most of answers are not covered in text at least that I can find! Only goes off the power point slides for lecture and has not provided ANY assistance on class project. Watch out guys!

Professor Crawford is an instructor I hope to have again. There is quite a bit of homework with the labs, but detailed instructions are given so it's easy to follow. Easy to reach by email and responsive to questions. She made the class enjoyable one of the best instructors I've had a Franklin.

Professor Crawford can be a tough grader but does give you good feedback. She grades pretty quickly but this course was a ton of work. Be prepared to read. If you make an effort in this course, you will pass

Professor Crawford is all over the map with communication. Several e-mails per DAY most weeks and information that should be given at once spread out over many e-mails. She was not flexible at all with inability to attend class. I would not recommend her at all. Take COMP 281 in person if possible with Prof. Gawrownski instead.

Professor Crawford instructed the online students who had questions "to email her to think about them before sending them", she also indicated several times that she didn't pre-grade assignments (AKA, don't contact me about it before submitting it); she also used phrases like "in the real world" and pre-recorded sessions. Avoid her at all costs.

I have had this professor before and really like her style. She is very thorough in her grading and gives very good feedback. She also sends out numerous emails to help keep us all on track and these are very helpful. I would not only recommend her highly but would take her again if I could.

She sends out like 3 different emails weekly & tells students to refer to the myFranklin assignment. Then she sends out an email stating she's surprised that students did not do the project in its entirety. MAYBE IF SHE ONLY SENT OUT 1 EMAIL WITH EVERYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW IT STUDENTS WOULDN'T MISS SOME PARTS OF THE ASSIGNMENT.

I've had this professor for several classes now. I like her way of teaching. She is precise in her grading, which I like. I learn the most that way. Love her detailed feedback. I know what I did wrong with each assignment submitted. She is very conscientious, willing to work with you if you have difficulties, and really cares about the student.
