Has an actual assignment that requires her to recognize and remember her students names. Funny. Class is super easy. Must come everyday because of in class assignments. No exams, just chapter quizzes. No homework. No group projects. Book is required but if you go everyday, you won't need the book.

Comment:

Easy online quizzes but there are in-class assignments everyday that makes going to class mandatory (those aren't hard either). On quiz days there's no class and she offers extra credit often when you're in class (on time) on days when there's bad weather. I would definitely take her class again!

Comment:

Dr. Tiamiyu is so much fun! I loved taking her class this semester! Not only is she super knowledgable about developmental psychology but she also is very good at engaging students in class. She is very understanding and gives students days off when quizzes are due. She gives lots of extra credit! I would definitely take one of her classes again.

She is so funny! You do not need the book at all. All her tests are online. When you have a test you dont have to go to class. Attendance is so mandatory, she gives 10 point in class assignments everyday and random extra credit that really helps. Unbelievable how much extra credit she gave. Class is so easy its hard to not get an A.

Dr. Tiamiyu's Star Mentee program was an amazing experience. She was very understanding throughout the semester and being able to help out in an educational setting was a great experience. I would defiantly suggest this course she is an amazing professor with a bright and bubbly personality! This is my second course with her and I LOVE her!!!!!!!

Dr. Tiamiyu is a very kind, energetic, and hilarious professor. All of her classes are online, so there is really no test anxiety. She gave 25 extra credit points this semester which was very nice! Easy class. Attendance is mandatory because of the simple 10 point in-class assignments she gives daily.

Dr. Tiamiyu is hilarious! She knows the material well & wants to keep students interested &engaged. No papers or group projects. You get points for "in class assignments" you do every class, but it's just a few sentences, basically all opinion. She gives extra credit. Tests are online. They are a a little tough, but not awful. TAKE HER SHE'S GREAT!

Very much enjoyed the externship with Dr. Tiamiyu. If you are looking for a rewarding externship experience and are interested in working with children, I highly recommend the Star Mentee Program with Dr. Tiamiyu! She's very friendly and always available to answer any questions you may have!

Her class was very easy. All of the exams are online now and they come word for word from the notes. NO studying is necessary, other than to read the notes right before you take the exam. There is one paper that is under 3 pages and it is very easy.

This was a very easy class. You didn't need to pay attention in class, but you do need to go to get the exact questions on the exams. She changed all of her exams to online, so no studying was required. You can simply look at the notes right before the exam and ace it.

Such a great professor! One of the best I have had so far. Just follow her instructions and study your lecture notes outside of class and you'll be fine. She is very helpful and provides alot of extra credit!

She is so helpful: she is very precise about what she wants all you have to do is follow directions, she gives you a quarter of the test questions and answers before the exam, everything is from her notes but you have to be in class to fill in info. I did not even purchase the book and got an A-. Gives a great deal of extra credit. love her.

Very interested person, she has lots of energy. However, she tends to spend time on subjects that are not important in the overall scheme of things. Notes are very different from the book, which makes it difficult to study. Class isn't too bad if you're prepared to study.

In the beginning of the year you will think this is an easy a class, but it is not. Her tests are difficult, a decent amount of questions do not come from her study guide. She is unhelpful and doesn't answer questions on test day. Her grading is very, very strict when it comes to projects. Can be rude.
