Dr. Altman is the best anatomy professor to take at NVCC!!! His tests are extremely hard, like the reviews below mine have already said, but as long as you pay attention in lecture and study a LOT you will be fine. He gives a lot of extra credit too that made my grade go up from a B+ all the way to an A! He genuinely cares about all his students.

Dr. Altman really cares about his students and wants them to succeed, but to do so you need to do your part & pay attention in class & study to understand the material! He's always available for help and makes class interesting by sharing stories about the topic & himself. I'd definitely take him again!

This man changed my life. My work ethic and studying skills increased 10x after taking Dr. Altmans classHe is one of the wittiest, funniest, most caring teachers Ive ever had. He makes you work for you grade, that is for certain. But his classes are pretty straight forward. No quizzes, no homework. Study your butt off and youll pass his exams.

Dr. Altman is my favorite teacher/professor of all time. Smart, witty, tons of knowledge and cares about his students. This is the 3rd time I've taken him over a number of years and I couldn't wait to sign up for his class. Tests are hard, lecture is amazing. If you are serious about learning then take Dr. Altman.

I absolutely love Dr. Altman's class. Hard class by all means & working 60 hrs a week & taking micro at the same time not a smart move from my part. Deff take his class, i have never had a proff more caring and smarter than him. Great teacher. I wish he was teaching a morning class for AP2 :(. You will learn the most with him, absolutely GREAT!

Professor Altman is a great professor. His tests are exactly what you need to prepare yourself for the nursing program. He's extremely fair to all of his students and works towards your best interest. Everything you need to know for the exam is given to you through his power points. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Altman has to be one of the best professors in this whole school! He knows his information and makes the learning the material interesting. This is NOT an easily class and a majority of the students in this class are nursing major. If you are a nursing student you must be prepared to study hard if you want to pass. Take him!

The class was (almost) entirely nursing students, some who were there the second time around hoping for an "A". Dr. Altman is passionate about his work and he's willing to help, as long as you put the work in as well. You will likely need to study nightly to earn that A. Go to class! He often teaches in metaphors, making confusing topics easier.

Defiantly one of my harder classes I've taken but he has helped me to better understand the material and helps you to take the best steps needed to get the grade you deserve and to pass. Highly recommend him to anyone who's interested in anatomy and actually wants to learn.

ALTMAN IS NOT WHAT MANY SAY HE IS. HE IS TOUGH BUT ONLY BECAUSE HE BELIEVES IN YOU. HE WANTS YOU TO PASS YOU JUST HAVE TO WORK FOR IT. TRY NOT TO MISS ANY CLASSES BECAUSE YOU MOST LIKELY WILL BE LOST. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM IF YOURE DOING NURSING. Dr. Altman is an amazing teacher, however, if you are not willing to study hard the class will be very difficult. He is fair and explains everything in detail. Dr. Altman is a fantastic teacher. Although, the tests are hard and YOU have to work to get the grade you want. His teaching is at way more than a community college level. He cares about his students and the subject he teaches. Take him if you can if you are going into the medical field you will not regret it!!
