Super easy class with super boring lectures. As long as you show up to take the easy pop quizzes and use a note card on the exam you will do fine. I usually used class time to do homework. There are plenty of quizlets that will help you prepare for the exam. If you have the option, take it online. Nice guy willing to answer questions.

Easy quizzes and exams (if you study/make a decent cheat sheet). The homework is by far the worst part of the class. It is completely pointless and you get zero feedback. Lectures are incredibly boring too, and they don't teach you the material. Wish I could give him a good rating because he seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't teach well.

He is not following his syllabus!!!! And you don't have a study guide before exams!!! He graded my second homework until dead week, which I turned in at the beginning of the semester, I can't believe this. Homework were hard, but DONT copy the homework from web.

Good professor. Very helpful and approachable. There is quizzes in class but they're simple. You can use a notecard on each exam which makes them easier than they already are.

Class is extremely extremely easy. It is impossible to fail unless you aren't a functioning member of society. You get a note card for every exam, so use it. Barely any homework and is very simple. The hardest concept is graphing a line and finding slope... so not hard at all

He is a nice guy and will answer any questions you have. Lectures are boring and irrelevant. Go to class because he gives random quizzes on videos in class. Can use a note card on the tests. HW is not hard but time consuming (but you can do it in class)and he accepts it late. I would recommend this if you are not a strong science student.

Lectures are extremely boring, IF you try to pay attention. Suggestions: Bring something to keep you entertained and awake. Even though class attendance is not mandatory, student should definitely try to go to all the lectures to avoid missing a "surprise" quiz. If you missed two quizzes, you should definitely start going to the rest of the lecture

Lectures are dull and disorganized. You get a study card on the exam. I just wrote definitions from the book about stuff i knew he mentioned in lecture, and I got A's. DO NOT skip class and miss every homework/in-class activity and then whine about how "hard" the class is. He makes it so easy to pass. If you fail it's your own fault.

Easy but really boring. Use the study guide on the course page while going thru the readings, then all done, you don't even need to go the lectures, the same content of which could be found on the course page also. Study card is allowed, which makes the exams so much easier.

By far the easiest class I have taken at Purdue, His homework is a bit time consuming and there are quizzes every now and then. It is also hard to get an A, however he gets the job done and your textbook has all the info for the tests; He as a teacher is very clear and will answer your questions. Most of the time you won't have to show up.

Doesn't answer emails or questions. Randomly gives grades without marking anything right or wrong. Pretty much useless. Going to class would be a complete waste of time. Would never recommend any class taught by someone that cares so little.
