Dr. Brancazio was very clear, offered a lot of material to make everything easily understood, and was interesting. Psych Stats isn't really known as the most interesting class, but it was much more interesting than Statistics. It helps to attend most, if not all, classes. Also, he offers practice questions and study guides for the exams!!

Great prof for statistics in psych. Even if you have a hard time wrapping your head around stats concepts, Brancazio will make it click. His in-class demeanor is a tad awkward sometimes, but he's a nice guy who will always help you out with whatever you need, whether for class or for general psych department stuff.

Dr. Brancazio is amazing! He's been so helpful to me as the head of the psychology department. I juust transferred to SCSU this semester and was lost and having difficulty getting my classes together and he was very helpful in answering all my emails and getting me to where I needed to be. He's a great, caring guy!

I've take Dr. Brancazio before, and I'll take him again because he is the best. His lecture notes are clear and understandable and his study guides tell you exactly what to prepare for. He has four exams and counts the lowest grade the least. He makes sure everyone is on the same page with material, and will go back and help those who need it.

Ugh, PSY 313 was just so dull... Didn't take him again. Tests are weird and confusing, they are like a mad-libs. You'll see if you take him. Show up and you'll pass.

Easily the most helpful professor I've had. His lectures are super clear and he gives feedback after every assignment. Four exams, the final is NOT cumulative. He motivates his students to learn and he makes it easy. He makes sure everyone is on the same page. If you don's understand something, he will gladly go over it again. Totally recommend.

the best class I took this semester. he is very organized & I used my computer to copy everything he had on his powerpoints.he also gives study guides.he is very helpful.the only bad thing is that if you miss his class he will not give you copy of the slides. go to every class! in the test he gives the option to choose the open ended questions.

He's a really good teacher. Idk y a lot of people gave his 303 class a bad rating. I found it interesting and to me if you study his study guides you'll do fine. Sure it's a lot but worth it in long run. I had him for 259 and 303 back to back and i ended up with B- in both.

I liked having Professor Brancazio. He definetly knows his stuff in Psychology. Definetly go to class to get the notes and there is alot of them. The test are hard because the multiple choice are like a paragraph long and it's hard to choose which answer because the answer are so long. He is willing to help you if you don't understand.

NEVER EVER EVER TAKE THIS CLASS. he only gives 3 tests, no extra credit and the class is horribly boring. He keeps you there till the very last second of every class. The tests are horrible and grading is very unfair. not recommended.

very nice but this class is not easy. the study guides are great but they are 6 pages long and he puts way too much info on the tests. GO TO CLASS, he doesnt put up powerpoints if you miss them and all the class info is on them. I dont recommend this class. only 3 tests and no extra credit

ive been in two stats classes and observed another- brancazio was the clearest, slowest, best stats teacher i've seen. he understands the topic, but better yet, he understands how to teach the topic. one hw btwn each test. organzied, questions on tests are very leading and helpful. no surprises on test. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Although attendance isn't really mandatory, go to class. It is so hard to catch up. He makes statistics understandable. BEST math teacher I have had.. Not even a real math teacher lol. Textbook is not needed, only for charts and for some topics he doesn't cover but are on the test. Ue his study guides and practice practice practice!

Great professor and great person. Had him for Perception and Statistics in PSY. He's very big on powerpoint and goes into great detail, but is pretty clear with material. TIP: be sure to go over all Study guides (which really help, if you do!) Recommend taking any of his classes!

He is a great professor! A total geek but is a great professor. He lectures a lot but makes it interesting. This class was really interesting. Did not need the book at all because all of the tests were based on the notes.

Professor Brancazio is a great professor and makes a complicated subject easy to understand. If you need to take Statistics in Psychology, I recommend choosing him as your professor. He gives 4 exams, non cumulative, your lowest counts as 10%, highest 30%, the other two 25%, 5% class attendance and 5% homework. Great professor!
