At first I didn't really like him at the beginning of the semester, as he was really good at belittling people. He wasn't too eager to help. As the semester went on, he grew on me. Very dry sense of humor. Easy grader! Class was really really really boring though...

I learned a lot from this guy. There are tests every week, but as long as you are actually putting effort in, reading the chapter, and listening in class, it's easy. He's incredibly helpful and encourages students to visit during his office hours. Allows make ups for tests. He's also hilarious. Give's immediate feedback and posts grades right away.

Don't take this prof if you don't have to. test every other week & lets you use a cheat sheet but his tests are harder than you think even with a cheat sheet. one collective bargaining project which is a joke & lectures are pointless. bright side of the class is he provides a couple extra credit assignments.

While I did enjoy this class and received a good grade. Professor Roth did not teach the class much about management. Class consist of weekly chapter quizzes that are straight from the textbook, a group project/presentation, and a final that is completely extra credit. Lots of extra credit opportunities in this class!

Roth is a professor that gets you ready for the real world. Big current topic project (of your choice) takes 35% of your grade 5% on attendance and effort and the remaining 60% on weekly quizzes on one chapter at a time. Go to class and you will do good, lots of E.C. opportunity as well!

Very poor teacher. He teaches very little content about management and the project you do for the class is very poorly designed and unclear. He is also belittling to his students and disrespectful. I would highly recommend taking the class from a different teacher.

Where do I start... Professor Roth may have the most annoying lisp I have ever encountered. He is constantly wiping his mouth on the cuffs of his shirt which I find absolutely disgusting. The class is relatively easy with chapter tests every wednesday,and the group project was not difficult at all. If you can stand his personality it is an easy A.

No exams, just weekly chapter tests that make up over 40% of the grade, the other half is from the group and partner projects. 20 minute presentation required. He talks so fast in his lectures it's pointless to go to class

Recomend taking...he may get side tracked easily although it is very easy. Do the homework, E.C, attend class and you for sure will get an A. Although the class was rather boring I did learn alot that will help you in the future. He may laugh a little wierd but pretty outgoing person.

Very very confusing professor. Gets off in tangents while the rest of the class stares at eachother in astonishment and confusion. I did better on the tests when I didnt go to class and only read the book. Lecture notes have nothing to do with whats on the test. Also a bad advisor- if you get assigned him switch ASAP!

i dropped his class now, 1/4 through semester. cannot stand him. boring, and was not learning crap! he seemed to be very big headed and thought he was always right until we would point out he right answer to him...then he would take it back. if anyone knows a way of getting him out of SCSU let me know.
