Honestly? He is very, very, very weird...but hilarious! He loves the shock value, don't even think of sleeping in class (as if you could). He is clearly very excited about history, and easy as long as you take notes and study for tests. I really like him, he's kinda awesome!!

I love, love, love Dr. Squeri. He's tough on grammar and tests. Expect writer's cramp because he does lecture and you will need your notes. Tests from readings and lecture. If you study hard and work at grammar you will be fine. He's really funny and you will be entertained as well as informed.

Easily the worst professor at ESU, at least in the HIS/POL department. Turned an interesting history class into a 3 hr. lecture with no interruption. Shows no passion for the subject, but has no problem jumping all over the place. Incredible disregard for teaching etiquette. Impossible to follow, and I would avoid taking him at all costs.

I had Dr. Squeri for Ancient History. Usually I don't rate any professors (this is my first actually). But after seeing negatives comments about this guy, it just bothered me. He is fun to listen to, loves the subject and if you end up with a bad grade, its your own fault. Easy class if you put in an effort. This guy is a great teacher.

Good class really interesting, but reading quizzes quiz are on very specific knowledge. You have to remember very specific facts and details rather than the main concept of the reading. The quizzes test for memorization of the reading rather comprehension.

I have had many classes with Dr. Squeri, and I won't lie- I think he's the best teacher in the history department. He's very entertaining and helpful and no matter HOW MANY TIMES you go to his office (which is many for me), he always helps! Tests aren't so bad, read the book. If you are a slacker, get out. I have a total crush on him! <3
