An amazing, inspirational man. All the ones who didn't like him or his class were the ignorant slackers and as he says "majoring in financial aid" LOL. I was terrified of public speaking but he made it less stressful and fun. He critiques you in front of the class so if you can't handle that, grow up. He is now officially retired as of 4-29-2011 :(

He is a GREAT teacher w/a GREAT mind. He has a bad rap b/c he tells it like it is--if you can't handle that, dont take his class. If you REALLY want to improve as a public speaker...his class is all you need. But now he's retired--UCF will suffer.

Very outspoken teacher, but I enjoyed his teaching style. Just a few tips don't yawn, come in late, interrupt, or miss class. I seriously afraid for my wellbeing on every occassion where I committed one of the above.

Tanzi amy be smart, but he knows it and takes advantage of his wisdom in a negative way. I did learn a lot from him. But not all positive things. His test were difficult but you can learn a lot from the class. A little too cocky for me.

Tanzi was vague, repetitive, and very demeaning. His style of teaching is based on a style that does not teach therefore he does not teach. If you don't understand what I just said, then expect the same type of wording in class.

I find his classes and tests to be challenging, but that's what I love about them. He really teaches you what's out there. His tests were hard...but I remember EVERY SINGLE THING I learned in his class. Thanks Dr. T!
