How is this man a professor? Takes off points on exams for the smallest things that are not done the way he likes. Watched him tell a kid that he should drop the class and that he won't pass while handing back an exam in front of the entire class. DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN.

Awful professor. Like other ratings say, if you do something that is not exactly his way on the test, you get points off. His way is not clear and he takes so many points off for ridiculous things. I and other students study for hours and its impossible to get an A. Wouldn't take him!

One of the worst professors I have had. Textbook is used but he puts his own spin on it and you will quickly learn its his way or the highway. Wastes half of class making the same jokes, can be very rude, and is very unhelpful in office hours. Would not recommend. Grade is solely based off of 5 tests with no opportunity to make up points.

Professor Witner was pretty basic. Class is graded on 8 small quizzes, a final, and some quick homeworks that take less than 20 minutes each. Doesn't take attendance, but you learn literally everything in class so don't skip.

Not a very good teacher. He grades unnecessarily hard by being extra picky about the wording of answers, rather than the actual, substantive answers. Doesn't communicate answers very well either and has sometimes gotten answers to his own questions wrong. I can tell, though, that he does try hard, so at least he puts in effort.

Witner is a very nice old man who cares about his students. However, he often gets distracted during lectures and is a very tough grader. He wasn't very helpful during office hours. Overall though he is fine and does teach the material in class. It can just be a little boring at times.

Not the absolute worst professor I've ever had, but he isn't all that great at all. He greatly lacks clarity in his lectures and can be overly picky for no reason when it comes to grading. He gives weekly quizzes instead of tests and you learn from his own textbook. He likes to drop questions from his quizzes so be careful of point value.

He doesn't take attendance but if you want an A you must attend. He makes corny jokes but if you go along with them he will like you. Tests are only what you go over in class, there are no surprises. If you put in the work you'll get a good grade.

Moves very fast on subject matter that some people will not get. Wastes plenty of class time trying to make corny jokes to try and lighten the mood. My class only had 5 tests, with no homework and no quizzes; so each test was 20% of your grade. Tests are not the greatest, even if you study the book, it may be different from the form he wants. :/

He uses a lot of abbreviations, some are easy to follow and some are not. Moves fast and wastes time in class. Realizes not everyone is a business major, but because of this emphasizes memorizing the material instead of learning it. Nice guy if you go to his office hours, but will answer your questions by telling you to memorize the answers.

Harsh grader on quizzes you canĂ¢€™t keep. Each class we wasted 15 min., rushed through hw solutions, then quizzed on material covered the same class, forcing us to cram in-class. Rote memorization emphasized. Final worth 12%, quizzesx13: 6%, never returned HW: 10%. CanĂ¢€™t control disruptive, attitude problem students b/c he wants to be funny man. Bad.

Good professor but his tests can be confusing. He words his questions differently from the book. To get a good grade in the class you have to do all hw assignments and I reccommend going to ACE...alot.

People might be tempted to take him as a professor because he seems easy; don't. He is the most absolutely rude and self righteous professors I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Avoid him if possible.

Kinda corny with his jokes, but he is a pretty good accounting professor. Many "testing opportunities" throughout the semester all worth 20% of your grade. What you do in class, is what you will see on the tests, attendance isn't necessary but I encourage it if you want to do well.

Not the nicest guy hard to describe him without any explitives, but sadly is not the worst accounting proffesor. If you do his homework and prepare for class an A is possible. He actually wants people to do well. 3 exams and the final each worth 20%, and the remaining 20% is take home online quizes so you can work with friends on them.

Could not stand being in this guys class. Uses the same 5 jokes a million times and thinks he is so funny. He is also the most unorganized person and by the end of class the bored looks like a foreign language with arrows and numbers crossed out and circled everywhere. Hard to follow in class but material is pretty easy overall. Tough grader.
