He's not impossible but very difficult. You will need to spend countless hours teaching yourself the material because he only goes over the homework answers. He doesn't write on the board, so don't take if you're a visual learner. Always review material and do hw bc he gives pop quizzes. Gives big curves on tests and quizzes tho so you wont fail

Very boring to listen to in class. Makes attendance mandatory because he struggles to hold the students attention. He is an intelligent man, but is very repetitive in the way he speaks. I would not take him again by choice.

Honestly I have to withdrawal from this class because I don't have time to teach myself. Like everyone else has said he only goes over hw problems. When you ask him a question he explains it very fast and is hard to follow. He is very smart but doesn't realize that the things he is teaching aren't easy for the student.

Just as terrible as you think he is and more. Get ready to teach yourself anything you want to learn. Just read the rest of the reviews, they're not exaggerating.

He is a very nice guy, but one of the worst professors you will ever have. You will not learn. Classes consist of answering questions from the reading. This course does not require any outside thinking, just memorizing the book. Participation grades matter a lot. Quizzes are impossible, but are heavily curved.

Absolutley WORST teacher of all time. If you want to learn accounting do not take this class!! Farrar makes us teach ourselves through the book and refuses to write on the board. Majority of class is going over homework answers but he talks so fast you don't really learn anything. 10/10 do NOT reccommend.

Nice guy, awful teacher. He talks more about himself than teaching students. All he does is go over the assigned homework and doesn't teach the material beforehand. He has never used the board. Several pop quizzes, offers little help. Wouldn't recommend.

DO NOT TAKE!!! All Farrar does is read over the solutions to homework problems that are impossible to figure out without someone teaching you how to do them, and since he does not do that, IMPOSSIBLE TO LEARN. Does not write anything on the board and speaks so damn fast that you cannot even keep up. Overall, just awful.

DON'T TAKE HIM AS A TEACHER!!! He doesn't give out or write any notes and just expects you to know and understand the material without ever going over it. he spends the class period giving the solutions to the problems that were assigned but never goes over them in detail. He spends the other half of the class talking about his personal life.

Pretty bad teacher. He doesn't write on the board or give examples in class, all you will do in class is go over the homework and listen to him tell stories. I basically had to teach myself everything. Anyone who did well in his class is no thanks to him.

So far I've learned that the professor has a photographic memory, could at one-time bench press 400 pounds and do a 360 slam dunk from the foul line. Everything else has come from the book. It really is sad that Bryant doesn't do a better job at monitoring professors like him because he is a waste of tuition money and time for students.

Professor Farrar is easily the worst professor I have had at Bryant by far. He does not write notes on the board so if you're a visual learner like me, you're screwed. He snaps at students for not knowing the answer or simply asking an innocent question because they're confused. It literally says in the syllabus that he cannot teach you.

Dont take him unless you ready to learn on your own. He does not write on the board. Everything he does is read the HW solutions and is not clear about the answers. I would have rather taken this class as an online course if it was available. Videos would have been more clear and I can contact them by email instead of calling him his house

Because of Professor Farrar's lack of teaching, I ended up having to repeat the class; the only time I've ever done that. God-willing he'll retire soon.

Not as terrible as everyone makes him out to be. He doesn't write on the board and his exams are tough but he goes over homework in class which is very helpful. Super nice guy. Curves all exams in some ridiculous way that makes no sense to anyone but him-- but it's a curve so who can complain.

would be a much better professor if he picked up a marker and wrote on the board. He stands and lectures accounting material which is basically impossible to learn without actually seeing it written out. His pop quizzes do not follow what he is teaching in class- if you're learning about chapter 11 you will probably be quizzed on chapter 7

Don't skip class. Always do HW + be ready for random pop quizzes. Most "lectures" were reading the answer key to the HW (that he distributes to the class online via the library anyway) plus the same irrelevant stories 2-3 times to run out the clock. Needs to use visual aides. Tests hard but scaled. No real review classes or problems before tests.

worst professor I have ever had. Does not explain anything, just goes through homework and doesn't even write on the board, he just talks about the numbers and about all of his "impressive" degrees. DO NOT TAKE!!!!
