He assumes you know how to do everything already, especially with the project. He is very strict, but he doesn't even proctor his own exams. He got one of the secretaries from the accounting department to give us the exams. The class is /okay/ if you can stand his attitude.

Anxious about class initially.Lays out Sylllabus clearly. Great exam study tools.DO THEM.He is pretty laid back. Dry sense of humor. knows his stuff.Extra credit chances very useful.

He is the easiest accounting professor in that department. This class is one big step from principles to intermediate level. He helps me with accting subjects as well as career advices. Take him if Accounting is your life, and prepare to work hard. His study tools are so similar to the real exams. Take Martin and you will feel the pain!

Plain simple the most arrogant and selfish professor ever. He feels entitled to his paycheck but not to being helpful. He wants you to be able to test not to learn but does nothing to do either. If you are intelligent and question him you are more in trouble. Also, he rates himself on this website...I know because I recognize his vocabulary LOL

If you're motivated enough to teach yourself accounting then take him, otherwise i dont recommend him. We do nothing inclass, get hw that is checked for completion, exams are impossible if you dont self study/do hw on your own. he's funny/pleasant. overall: not great, but doesnt suck either.

Has a wierd teaching style but it turns out to be easier then it seems. He greats fairly if you do what your suppose to do and not slack off. The test are merely all calculation questions. You have 3 test, graded HW and a project paper. Which arent as bad as people make it out to be. If you are willing to get through this class easy B hard A.

Sounds like the joke is on my classmate from the previous posting.He must be one of those students who was mad at the professor because he goofed off on his project and expected the professor to accept his late work. I liked the professor's system of doing h/w as well as his informal style. worked hard and my grade reflected it.

He does not teach you what he tests you on! He reads out of the textbook but doesnt explain any of this hard material in detail, he just expects us to know it! He didn't even know what HW problems he assigned us and couldn't explain them in detail. He is an absolute JOKE. If you want to know how to do accounting, I would def take someone else!

Prof. was very professional, knowledgable and ran an extremely difficult class pretty darn well within a 5 week period.I know that he was pretty strict on deadlines which got some people mad at him and so they post nasty comments. Grdaed project easy. Grow up !!

Horrible. DO NOT TAKE HIM IN THE SUMMER. HW is completely diff from exams. I think he forgot that we're still trying to learn accounting and assumes we should just know it. Exams r multiple choice but difficult computations are necessary for almost every question.

Great teacher, but no the easiest...Read a lot and do all the practice quizzes, even though they have nothing to do with the real exam questions.Projects are easy, but make sure u submit on time.I recommend him if you want to learn the material and u promise yourself to spend enough time on it.

This class is SO hard but, hey, it's accounting people, what do you expect?...and the textbook doesn't make it much easier. However, Lazarus is very helpful when it comes to trying to explain material. But if you're not willing to put in the work, you won't do well. He's not as mean as people say he is...very friendly and engaging.
