Comment:

Professor Dunston is very knowledgeable about business transactions, and it shows. He can be very aggressive at times, but you get used to it. He cares a lot and the information he gives you is very useful and relevant.

Comment:

Dunston is by far the best professor I've had at app. He's a savage in class, but it's all in good fun. He motivates you come prepared and perform to the best of your ability. He challenges you, but stick with it because he is well worth having. You are well equipped to ace this class as long as you participate and follow the study guide!!

Dunston is an enigma to me as a student outside of the College of Business, taking his honors seminar as a biology major. However, to get an A in the class, you just have to be able to participate in discussions and put in a little effort on the papers. I got the same grade on all of my papers, but by disagreeing with him 90% of the time I passed.

Comment:

The best professor I've had at App State and I've had him twice! He changed my outlook on school. He teaches through lectures and doesn't use ASULearn. Go to class, take notes, and participate. That's the best way to get an A. Gives study guides for exams that are extremely helpful. Will call you out in class, so be prepared by doing the readings.

Best Professor at App State. He will bust your butt in class but, you will come out a stronger person. He lets you know everything on the test and gives a study guide before each test. There are 3 test that all relate and curved. He gives extra credit paper worth 10 pts added to final grade. Not to mention, he has the best suit and bow tie game.

350 Characters are not enough for this great teacher. Dunston is by far THE BEST professor I've had at App. He has experience in the field, and can always tell a story relevant to the material. He takes a miserable subject and makes it palpable, lectures a bit dry but he has great personality. Take him for any class you can, you will not regret it!

the best professor at App hands down. after taking his course, I actually feel educated about the world we live in. at first he may come off abrasive, but he wants to break the barrier between lecture and class discussion. PAY ATTENTION! everything he teaches is valuable to your future. he truly cares about his students and he wants you to learn.

Professor Dunston's test can be very tricky. All questions relate to real world law problems. However, he is very straightforward on reviews; he makes all the info crystal clear. Have to pay attention because he loves putting students on the spot.

Professor Dunston is a great teacher. However, his tests are very difficult. I am a hard working student, but for some reason could not pass 1 exam! The exam consists of real life scenarios... very long... very hard to follow some of the questions. Great teacher, but a hard course.

Hands down the best professor I've ever had. His lawyering skills make his lectures extremely interesting and involved. Honestly the guy could teach the history of cardboard making and I would take the class. Super cool, knows his stuff to the nth degree and highly accessible. All around great professor and awesome dude. Take his class!

Dunston definitely knows his stuff. No attendance policy, but does give pop quizzes which makes you want to attend. He's no afraid to randomly call on students, so you have to pay attention in class. But I think all these things makes you want to learn the material. Interesting class, interesting teacher. Definitely recommend this professor.

He is a retired lawyer. His lawyer jargon sometimes goes over your head. He will call out on you in class a lot and normally picks 3 or 4 people to call on regularly. He never posts grades, so you have to study and do well on everything. Tests are hard. Gives surprise quizzes.

He is a retired defense lawyer. He is intimidating and can be loud. He will call you out on the spot. I really enjoyed his class. You need to study and go to class for frequent quizzes, but you learn a lot. He's one of the professors you enjoy and remember.

GREAT TEACHER!! He definately knows his stuff. He writes everything down on the board, if you copy it all down and read a little bit of the book you'll do fine on the test. Take 3 test throughout the year, then a final. Have to get an article everyday for class and discuss it, but not that bad. Picks on a couple of people in the class. TAKE HIM

Dunston is the best!!!! He's very intimidating at first but he's one of the nicest professors I've had! You have pop quizzes on the notes he gives you and 2-3 tests that are moderately hard. As long as you go over his notes and skim the chapters it's easy to make good grades on the tests. TAKE HIM!!!! You'll learn so much from him.

Prof. Dunston is awesome. He likes to wear bowties. He also explains everything very well. Exams are a little hard but not too bad. He is interested in current events and makes us bring in an article on business and the law for every class. It sounds like a pain but it isnt. Bus. Law. is boring anyway, take Dunston because he makes it tolerable.
