Leigh is an English teacher but also teaches ceramics. Clear grading criteria, gives work sheets with what is expected. Can be challenging to get As for projects. Have to write everything down in notebook (also graded). Presents techniques etc well. Wants you to do well. Good advice. Have to write a paper and do a presentation. She is very sweet.

Mrs Williams let us have creative freedom on our projects which was fun, and she was understanding and helpful towards the people with no experience with clay. She was a really fair grader and gave points for effort. If you following the project guidelines and pay attention to her techniques, the class will be and easy A!

Professor Williams has been the most inspirational instructors I've had at DCC. She is so passionate and knowledgable of the subjects she teaches, it's impossible to not become interested. She wants everyone to do their best! Very accommodating and understanding. I took her for modern poetry and ceramics, if I could I'd take more classes with her!!

Leigh Williams is one of the nicest professors at DCC. She's always in a good mood and is very friendly and open to any kind of comment during class. Her grading is very difficult though, so make sure you do the absolute best you can do. Because of her friendliness, it's hard to get good advice from her. Nice, but hard, demanding and not helpful.

We write one poem a week based on things we learned and what we'd like to express. She is a very open and enthusiastic teacher. She is friendly and a very good facilitator for discussions. She knows what she's doing and accepts others' styles. WE do have one test in the middle and a portfolio at the end. A good class to take

She is a very nice lady, very passionate about the class. Didn't assign much work which was awesome. All you had to do was show up for the class to pass. She was very nice, really understanding and just overall a good person. I would recommend having her as a teacher.

She is an extremely enthusiastic teacher and an easy grader on tests.However,if you don't like perky teachers, I would not take one of her classes.I took her Shakespeare class,wasn't really interested at first, but actually found the material interesting upon taking the course.Honestly the nicest and most accomodating teacher at Dutchess.

She was one of my favorite professors in three years at DCC. She was very kind, too kind at times to annoying people, but mainly her enthusiasm is what makes her class enjoyable. Don't take her Shakespeare class if you aren't already interested, thinking that you'll come around to it. She's a fair grader, leaning on the easy side.

Very kind, and supportive teacher. Took her class as a night class, and attendance is definately mandatory (which I failed to adhere to..). Never the less, she really inspired everyone in the class to not only write poetry, but to share it in class.
