Comment:
Very knowledgeable on subject materials taught. Will state theorems very precisely and show step-by-step worked examples, even if they are simple one-liner math questions. Tests are decent - but beware, there is no partial credits so check your answers thoroughly before you submit.

Decent professor. When he lectures, he sounds emotionless and robotic, but he's very clear and everything he presents is understandable. Homework is fair but I wish I could get it back sooner. Tests are reasonable if you study for them.

Comment:
Had Professor Kutt for Fluid Mechanics at NYU. Focus entirely on theory, no application whatsoever. Is very methodical, almost too methodical. Class doesn't make you think, just mindless copying from the board. Exams incorporated theory questions in which a correct answer required very specific definitions. No value added to education.

One of my favorite professors at Cooper. So methodical and consistent! His classes were sometimes dry but always enlightening. Expectations of students are articulated up front. There are no surprises. He wants the entire class to succeed. I wish more people were as clear as he is.

The most thorough professor you will ever have. His notes are worth their weight in gold. Generally pretty easy on the workload, but you'll still learn a lot.

TYPICAL engineer. So thorough and methodical and anal-retentive, you just can't help but love him. He explains everything to bits and pieces, very straight-forward, very fair grader. Not much work (except for the numerical design project), and yet you learn! How untypical of Cooper.
