Comment:

The class was very dry, the professor hardly looks up from his notebook, it is hard to hear him in the back of the room, and INCREDIBLY boring. If you don't do go on the test do not take this class, that is the only way you get your grade. I would not recommend taking this instructor unless you understand trig. and are highly self motivated.

For Trigonometry: I skipped class often just to get help in the tutor lab. The teacher might have looked up 5 times from his notebook the entire semester. His tests let you know if you are understanding the material. Be self motivated if you sign up for his class.

HE HOOKS HIS COMPUTER UP TO THE PROJECTOR SO ALL THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS THAT ARE REVIEWED AND THE MATERIAL HE COVERS IN CLASS GETS UPLOADED TO BLACKBOARD. HE ALSO PUTS ALL THE FORMULAS ON THE BOARD FOR TESTS. TESTS ENCOMPASS ALL COVERED MATERIALS (ALOT IN SUMMER). HE WENT OVER STUDENTS QUESTIONS FROM HOMEWORK FIRST THING EVERY CLASS. RECOMMENDED

This class is so boring! I'm the type of person who kinda needs hw to stay on top of the materials, but he doesn't give any hw which made if hard to stay focused. Tests are hard and long, the final exam will take u the whole time period! Be prepared to reteach yourself the material.

College Algebra for grownups. Homework is not collected and class notes are posted to blackboard by the end of the day. Extremely Generous with partial credit on the 4 (total!) in class tests. That's really all the work you need to do. He covers the material. If you need a tutor, YOU NEED A TUTOR. That is what the math lab is for. EZ A

do yourself a favor and don't take his classes. I think he turned around once the whole semester. Apparently he and the blackboard are in a relationship. He explains things too fast and makes no sense. By the time class is over i leave more confussed then when i got there. I would not recommend this professor!!

Not a very good teacher. Spent the entire class time talking to the blackboard rather than the students. I often asked questions in class, and if it was something he thought was easy he would make rude comments as to how easy this is and I should have learned it two semesters ago. Would not reccomend him at all!!!

Not the most exciting teacher, but if he's teaching then you have a good shot at doing well in the class. I paid attention in class and went over his test reviews (which he works out the problems for you) and got a "B" without doing any hw. I would recommend him, especially if math isn't your thing.

Not duffiult conteny.Found homework more helpful than lectures.Very nice teacher who sometimes goes a little too fast, but gets his point across.If you stay you stay up with the class and do your homework, theres no reason not to get an "A". Hint: The review sheets are VERY similar to the tests!!!

This guy is great! I laughed a lot in this class. The material could have been more clear and in depth, but overall I would take Dr. Smiley again. The study guides are great, paralleling the test almost exactly.
