I had Dr Hall for two classes and I would not want to take her again. She teaches a view of something as fact! She will mock you in front of the class if you don't agree with her. She has a very closed mind! I found her classes boring. I passed both classes, but would not want to waste my time again!

I had Professor Hall for three psych. classes so far (2160, 3760, 3180) & she is awesome. always uses powerpoint, is clear and precise in her teaching and likes to include personal stories and anecdotes. she is also a really easy grader and very nice. she likes open book exams. take her!

Going to and staying in class for her lectures is torture. I'd happily never take her again. Don't get me wrong - she's nice... but boring. If you want to LEARN and be tested on your actual knowledge, find someone else.

Social psychology class. Easy grader. lectures off powerpoint- by prepared to scribble notes. Weekly take home quizzes right from the text. Attendance helps, if you want to learn but its pretty boring, not much of a discussion course.

If you want an easy grade take her. If you want to learn something don't. She picks favorites. I didn't work hard and I have got nothing but A's and B's. I love having discussions in class but she intimidates people to do so, which makes us hesitant. Sorry to say she held up her reputation for that.

I took professor Hall for Multicultural Issues in Psychology. Overall she explained the material very clearly, and the class was not a difficult one. I greatly appreciated the quizzes she gave us weekly. I would take a class with her again. Great teacher!

took her for multicultural issues...awesome proff. attendance is mandtory, weekly quizzes for chapters. i didnt buy book, but you need it. midterm and final come straight from the weekly quizzes (she gives you them back to study), one paper. easy class. Got a B and never studied.

I liked this teacher. I think her class is really easy and that really it's the Stereotype textbook that makes it seem like she's ****. But really she's just going by what it says, and it's mainly research focusing on African Americans.

I have had her for her stereotype class and I thought she was very prejudice to some of the comments made in class. She is boring, but if you expect this class to help you understand stereotypes and work with others who are sterotypical than this is NOT the class for you. All you learn is that black people are racised against more than anyone else.

There's a difference between a good person and a good teacher. Dr. Hall is a great person, but she was the MOST BORING TEACHER I have ever encountered! I had to by soda and anything else with sugar before class just to make myself stay awake, and even then I felt as if I was going to pass out mid-lecture.
