Dr. Mariani is the nicest man you will ever meet. He makes the effort to get to know his students. Physics is tough, but if you go to class, take good notes and study the practice problems you will do fine! My favorite professor I've had to date. TAKE HIM!!

good professor-tests come right from questions from notes, though he does add parts to questions not covered in class-he doesnt respond to e mails but recommend him as he is considered the better and easier of the physics teachers

Professor Mariani is a great teacher. Lectures are very clear and explicit. Exams are very easy if you study. During lectures he may say "you should know how to do this problem, in case anyone asks you." If he says this, star it in your notes, it will be asked on an exam. He has engineering experience and is just a very nice person.

Easy class. He is a very nice man and actually has engineering experience. His tests are easy if you study the example problems he does in class. He uses the same problems just with different numbers.

He knows that most people taking his class are not physics majors so he keeps the class very basic and his notes are very organized--he gives at least two example problems every class and if you practice the problems he does in class before the test, you're set!
