Professor Lewis is so kind and understanding. He is very passionate about literature. The best thins about him is how understanding he is. I warned him I would be late due to things out of my control and he told me to take my time and enjoy the weather. Super nice guy, very easy grader. Only three papers make up your grade, but they are easy A's.

Dr. Lewis is a very nice man and is insanely passionate about what he teaches. Doesnt take attendance which is nice, however, his grading is super vague and inconsistent. No clear criteria and grades are absent from Asulearn. His lectures often drag on and will get super off topic. I think I have an A in here but its hard to tell, wont tell you.

Great professor! We went over some English stuff, but mainly it was an easy A! A few papers here and there, but as long as you make them sound good, then you'll get an A. Great professor.

He is literally the best professor Ive had. His method of leveling with students and really just engaging us in the literature was the best method of learning for me. He inspires you to think for yourself which is the greatest gift any teacher can give. Oh, and he is very accessible.

Leon Lewis is a wonderful human being. You will know more about him after taking this class than anything else. He has had so many life experiences and some that he shares may not even be his own. He did not take attendance, but he will make you want to show up to class. When people didn't show up I could tell it hurt his feelings so you better go.

Leon is a genuine person who cares about his students and their education - that said his lectures are incredibly boring and long-winded. However, he doesn't take attendance and is very laid-back. I found the course didn't live up to my expectations, but it's an easy A so I can't complain too much.

Professor Lewis was one of the more eccentric professors that I've met within the English department. This class was very laid-back, and Leon constantly kept me entertained. He talked a lot about his own experiences and life and showed a lot of passion for the subject matter.

I had a class with him my first semester and it was the easiest class I've ever had. You have to do some reading, but only a short story or poem ever week of so. He does get off topic a lot. But there is no test or final exam, you just have to write a few short papers and you're done!

Great Books: As a physics major, I was dreading a lit class. But, I really liked Dr. Lewis. His lectures would sometimes drag on, but he got me to think about the books in a different way. His class is super easy. If you do the work, you get an A.

HOW TO GET AN A: show up every once in a while to ask a classmate about paper deadlines (overall, there are like 3 short papers), write them, and turn them in. I did the work, but only went to about 30% of the classes--and still got an A. Take this course.

I was in Mr. Lewis's first and only RC1000 class. What a blessing! Attendance isn't mandatory and basically all he does every class is talks about movies and whatnot. We only wrote 3 papers and he doesn't give a page requirement for anything. He's a cool & funny guy but sometimes his talking gets boring, so don't always go to class. Take him!!

You will never have to go to this class. Lewis is such a sweet guy and he is very passionate in what he talks about, but often times he talks about nothing. There are three papers which are basically just poem analysis and they only have to be two pages long. He also doesn't care when you turn them in, as long as they turned in by the last day.

We never talked about anything relevant to class in class. Once he spent half the class talking about Tom Hanks for apparently no reason. He's nice enough. And ready to compromise on assignments and due dates, but the class is a hopeless mess. Super easy, though. Like I think I've skipped about a dozen classes and am still getting an A.

I had british lit with Leon Lewis. The course was very easy and consisted of 3 graded papers and weekly forum posts. Attendance isn't really required but I went often to know what upcoming papers and discussions were going to be about. He is a very interesting guy and can talk about things with ease. His classes fill up quick bc is he is the best.
