Probably the easiest grader I've ever had in college. Go to his TA's help sessions, do the homework, and study the old tests problems and it's easy. He just wants you to learn the really broad ideas.

Good teacher. Awesome with grading and his tests are based on prior exams that he had before. Uses the same questions switches up numbers tho. Got an A- attending 60% of class since he has over 1000 lecture slides but overall very informative and very helpful

Casson's a great Professor, who is willing to sit down with you and explain anything that's unclear He's also very practical and reasonable on grading. Downside, the book we bought was very expensive and we didn't really see much use out of it. Also we could have and should have spent way more time covering design of treatment plants.

Comment:
Intro to environmental: bad lectures that don't relate to the homework. Midterms are time consuming and the final just requires a lot of knowledge. I hated the subject and should have failed but Casson is a nice guy and gave me a B because of how hard I tried. Know how to do conversations and are guaranteed some points on tests.

Nice professor, but lectures are not productive or informative. A bit too sure of his teaching abilities and doesn't impart practical information well upon his students. Also, we bought two books (total: $300) and rarely used them at all. I heard wastewater is much easier than this class (drinking water).

Decent. He flies through Powerpoint presentations, so be prepped to learn some material out of class. A fair bit of HW and you need to be extremely well prepared for his tests.

His lectures are dry at times but he acknowledges this fact and tries to make light of it. Get ahold of his old exams and you will get a good grade. Overall fair in final grading.
