I had Dr. Netting for intro to jazz. She's motivated, an amazing dancer and challenged all of us to be better dancers. One easy paper and the final was the coolest final I've ever had. Dr. Netting is loud and full of personality, don't take it the wrong way. I transfered out of KU, and shes still my fav prof. Take her class if you can!

ok, just for everyone's knowledge, i know this teacher pretty well & yes, if you have her for intro your taking a cake class. anything else, she expects a lot of you,& acts like she's better than you & she acts like she is in constant competition with her students. AMAZING teacher, but watch out for personality conflicts. a little harsh at times

Professor Netting is a nice professor who runs a fun, easy, and frequently cancelled class. All you need to do is show up on time and choreograph a 1:30 minute final, as well as write a brief paper. However, if you dont have dance expierence, the final will be hard because not much is covered in class.

Ok, fat chicks should not have to wear leotards. Seriously! But on a positive note, she is a fantastic teacher who loves her craft. The classes were light and fresh but friggin hard. She is simply a brilliant teacher, but wish she woudl perform more. She's got wonderful stories of legends she has worked with.

Netting can be tough, she can be a **** if your a **** to her. But she is also one of the coolest, most inspirational, funny, motivating and knowledgable dance teachers you'll ever have. Take her and stick with it. You'll thank yourself when it's over!
