Comment:

Chinese is not a really hard language as far as grammar and rules -- but you have to spend HOURS memorizing characters, so be warned, it takes alot of work and time. Mrs. Li is leaving after this year, which may or may not be good. She's very sweet friendly and cool to talk to but very disorganized and gets distracted easily because of her age.

If you think this is just a 101 class and it will be fun to learn some chinese stay away, its a lot harder than i thought, and she even tells you to drop the class the first day, dont take it unless yoyu are an asian studies major or prepared to learn how to read write and pronounce hundreds of word

Nice Lady. The vocabulary lists are excellent, but there are alot of words. Do all of the homework. The classes can be a little boring, but all in all it's a good class.
