She rocks! I changed advisors to her because she is so awsome! If you have not taken a class with her then you are really missing out. She is a tough grader on your papers, but she lets you rewrite them - she is very understanding. Lib rocks!

This was my 1st class w/ Dr. Hayes and it was well worth it. If she sees that u have probs w/ ur writing she helps u in how to correct ur wiriting problems and has a very caring attitude about her. Well worth ur time and energy. There are minipapers, 2 exams and 3 papers spread out over the course.

Love English as an English major but hated taking 101 - yet Hayes made it worth the trip. She's an awesome professor with good methods and a great personality that makes her easy to get along with. She was also my advisor and did a great job leading me in the right direction.
