One of the most incredible teachers ever. Talk about passion. While she may have a passion for accounting, her true passion is teaching. If you don't get it she sticks with you until you do. If you don't want to learn and retain it don't take her class. She is genuine in wanting her students to learn. If you fail her class you deserve it!!!!!!

Professor Hickman-Riggs is without a doubt the best professor I have every had! She is a dynamic lecturer, and explains all of the material with real-world relevance. She does not pretend that accounting is easy, but she will do everything within her power to help her students learn and understand.Just an amazing professor-Definitely take her class

Professor Hickman-Riggs never pretends that Accounting is easy. She brings her own learning experiences and her tools to us in class, and increases our underlying understanding of the subject matter. With her tips and tricks, especially "Read the English!", word problems in class and ad hoc analyses on the job are no longer so intimidating.

I love the professor. She is the best among the best. If you don't believe me, try once and you'll see. She makes the toughest materials become easy. Always make sure the students are ok with the materials before moving on to the next topic. Very very nice personality

Best overall teacher I have ever had, not only in accounting, but in any other class....very passionate about teaching and is really interested and proud of her students accomplishments overall..very concerned about the wellbeing of her students..
