Dr. B is surely a hard professor to learn under. However, I always did well in her classes. Tests and papers can be challenging, but if you know your stuff it's a breeze. On a lighter note, she is not as cold hearted as some may think. Dr. B. really helped me out on a personal level when my mother passed away the last semester of my senior year

BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD, SHE IS VERY HARD BUT YET SHE HELPS YOU EVERY CHANCE YOU GET. YOU LEARN SO MUCH FROM HER AND IT MAKES YOU CONFIDENT BEFORE ENTERING THE WORKFORCE. SHE IS AMAZING. I WOULD TAKE HER 1000 TIMES OVER!

I graduated in 2003 and had her for pretty much every course she offered. I loved her classes. She is a tough teacher, she's not for people looking for an easy was out. Also, no one has metnioned her papers, she requires A LOT of long paper writing. Excellent teacher, great person, wish I had her for grad school too!!!! =)

Yes she's can be scatterbrained but her knowledge of current events and old ones at that is amazing. She's witty and just enjoyable to have as a professor. Just don't expect to get by without studying.

While Dr Beeson is very knowledgeable, she tends to go off on tangents. Also is scatterbrained at times, changing test point totals on the day of the test. If she doesn't like you and you don't kiss up to her, don't expect to make up any tests/quizzes. She rarely sticks to her syllabus.

I learned more in this class than any other class I have taken so far. You learn not only how to improve your communication skills, but alot about what is going on in the world. Its a really fun class to take! Dr. Beeson expects alot out of you- but it only makes you work harder.

she has several favorites in class for odd reasons and this affects grading which is unfair. she seems to want and favor humorous students, class clowns, over students who try and put effort into all assignments. i thought this kind of thing was over in high school?!?! and she does ramble on a lot.
