She is the my favorite professor. I majored in History and Minored in Pan-African studies and never would have made it through Drew without her. I wish there were more professors like her.

Prof. Edwards considers a 97% and up an A. In other words, if you work your rear off studying for an exam and/or submit a great paper, a 96% is an A-...Which is calculated into the GPA at 3.65 This woman will ruin your GPA. Additionally, she is a condescending hypocrite and papers must be written to convey HER opinion. BEWARE

I've taken a BUNCH of classes with Dr Edwards. There are times I've disliked her but I've always adored her. Shes the reason I'm at Drew and I am involved in Pan African studies. She doesn't BS and she really preps you for the real world where its up to you to make it work

Great teacher! Very Helpful and understanding. Class requires a 15-20 pg paper due at end of semester, no exams just discussion papers. I learned ALOT in this class.

It seems like the woman puts together her notes for class last minute or improvs her whole way through. She relies on the students to run the class and feeds off of their comments. She can be sweet sometimes but she just seems like she doesn't care. Very lackluster.

everything a professor should be. not only is lillie an absolute expert in her field (particularly african-american history). not only are her classes both a learning experience and extremely enjoyable. but she is one of the most genuine, likeable PEOPLE you will ever meet. HIGHLY recommended.

awesome professor. if i didn't have to switch to a different professor for academic advisor for my major, i would totally stay with her throughout college. she's soooo great. lots and lots of reading, but she gives constructive criticism and is always there outside of class to help her students.

Simply the best. Seemingly the only professor at Drew that understands what its like to be a college student. Goes to ridiculous lenghts to help each and every student. Tons of reading but its rewarded by lack of exams. Knows her subject inside and out. Interesting lectures. I love her.
