Lin Ba was a great teacher.. don't be afraid to ask him what you don't understand after class. Heavy accent but he is still very good at explaining everything. Only 2 grades, midterm + final but if you show up and he knows you, you're good to go. Glad I don't have to take the classes again though.

Lin Ba's class is lecture heavy and attendance isn't mandatory, so many people never came and then would struggle. He is a hilarious and smart guy. You just have to be willing to put in your own work because he doesn't hold your hand. Go to every lecture and you will be fine. He often straight up tells you the questions he will ask on the exam.

Easy A. If you're someone that shows up but you terribly fail both the mid term and the final you'll still get a C- if he sees you're at least trying to put some effort in class. His tests are in depth but the grade you get overall more than makes up for it.

He's ok. He mainly focuses on the graphs in the book and wants you to explain them on the 2 midterms so if you study the graphs you should be good and he also ask about wall street stories he has told in class on the midterm. He curves the class because I am 99% sure I failed both midterms and got a C- I'm not saying don't study just try your best.

I've never suffered in a class like I did in this one. He's impossible to understand, uninteresting, and unengaging. Every Tuesday and Thursday driving to school I hoped I would get into an accident just so I didn't have to go to this god awful class.

You're only grades are your midterm and final, which aren't too difficult, but you need to go to class unless you want to teach yourself. If you go to every class and take good notes you should be okay.

everyone loves Lin Ba & to be quite honest, I'm not sure. He admits that he's never failed a student but his class is still pretty intense. Only gives a midterm and final, both worth 50 points. He's very hard to understand, imo. Passed the class, that's all that mattered to me.

SIT IN THE FRONT OF THE ROOM. Make sure he knows your name and go to every class. He will literally give you answers during the test if you do all these things. Only 2 grades, very easy to get an A with minimal effort. Write down everything he says- that is the test. take a page of notes a day - cancels class a lot

Nice guy. attendance is necessary. exams are fair but challenging. there are only two grades: midterm and final. not an easy class but not impossible if you are willing to put the work in.

Easy teacher as long as you show up to class. Two tests but he curves a ton if he knows you're a good student. Easy B or above. If you pay attention then you will easily get an A.

If you go to class and take notes you should get an A, he makes the material easy and presents it in a way that's more simple than in the book and he tells a lot of helpful (and entertaining) stories. Not the most approachable professor but as long as you show up and pay attention you shouldn't need much help anyways.

Lin Ba is seriously a great professor, he makes macroeconomics a lot easier to understand. He's really laid back and funny, he tells a lot of stories. Class isn't mandatory but if you don't go, you won't do well.

Easy A, just SHOW UP TO CLASS. If you teach yourself from the book, that won't cut it with Lin. You need to do it his way and his way only. Sit in the front and you are set. Great Professor!

Lin Ba means well, he just has no organization to his lectures, so it's hard to know what to take notes on. YOU HAVE TO COME TO CLASS. He can point you out if you haven't been there. There are only 2 grades so that's pressure to do well because there aren't any grade buffing assignments. Sit in the front, trust me.

Lin ba tends to get off topic but he is a good hearted man whom, if asked by students will help. Only 2 tests! 1 mid-term and 1 final. If you show up to class you don't need the book and you will pass unless you're not conscious.
