This professor is not mean at all and is not very difficult if you self teach yourself. She reads off of a packet and doesn't teach. I would go home and look up You Tube videos. I talked to a few classmates and we all agreed that she doesn't teach. If you take this class be ready to sit in the front. She speaks very soft and low.

Anatomy and physiology is TOUGH, period. But, Professor Harris was a terrific instructor. She is willing to help you and she is very reasonable and fair in grading. I found her style to be conducive to learning. Because the subject is so tough, attendance is important. Very glad she was my professor for this class!

Sweet lady. You just gotta study the hell out of her hand outs and know every detail for the tests. I cheated on literally everything and I'm telling you, you gotta know your stuff if you aren't a gangsta like me. Like 3/4s of the class ends up dropping and hard is an understatement so be ready to put in hours if you want to do decent.

Her lectures were very boring and the notes were very basic. Her lecture tests were very hard and definitely had things on them that were not in the notes. The lab tests were easy because of Sato's lab website. Just study those power points, and you will be solid on the lab tests. This professor does give out lots of extra credit in her quizzes.

Her lectures are quick and touch base on the subjects/systems. It's completely up to you to develop an understanding of the concepts. Like she'll give you the jist of it but it so much more complex than what she makes it out to be. She is nice&funny at times but you have to be very self motivated or a genius for her methods of teaching.

This class is one of the tougher ones that I've taken at Cypress College. Many students dropped. There are Lab exams (anatomy) and Lecture exams (Physiology). You ONLY need the lab book! The other book is just for reference. Lab exams are fill-in-the-blanks but are easier. Lecture consisted of a powerpoint. She gave 10 extra credit points only.

She is very dedicated in teaching. She uses projector, she gives you handouts, study guides for all the exams, and labs. Quizzes are easy, multiple choice and fill in the blanks, T or F. This class, in general, is not easy, it's a mix of A&P but she makes it manageable for a typical student. I got an A btw. Good luck.

Difficult class for sure! You'll probably be studying for hours every day to get an A in this class. Linda is very nice and helpful though and will answer any questions you may have. She may drone on during lectures, but she also has some interesting stories when she goes off on tangents. BOUNUS: Pizza at the end of the semester! -Spring 2010

Very disappointed in this class and instructor, no disection, lecture is nothing more than her reading off an overhead. Timed lab exams, dry dry, dry. I would not recommend this class if you are just starting your sciences.

She was a great teacher and she taught a pretty laid back class (probably b/c it was a night class). She'd always stay after to answer any questions and she was real cool about allowing several diff. answers on lab exams. three people would have three slightly diff answers and they'd all get credit for it. that helped a lot.

TAKE HER CLASS! Very refreshing, very nice and dedicated to her students, very accomodating, tries to help anyone anyway possible. Prints out lecture and lab materials beforehand and has study guides included, this is a hard subject but with professor Harris you can get a decent grade without living in A&P land.

her handouts are great! her lectures are ok but straight from the handouts except with lots of personal stories! skipping lecture is no biggie--know your stuff when you take her tests....they are tough...remember to study all the "home assignments" she will include them in the tests!

Overall, she's a great instructor! Her lectures are very "cut and dry." She will teach you the essential of A&P in an easy way. Just keep up with the "regimen" and you'll be fine.
