Dr. Kean is quite a woman. I didn't have a good experience with my first internship class, but she made this one worth loving. She is knowledgable about leadership. She loves to talk, so much so that our first class introductions took 2 hours for 20 people. She's still wonderful and a great fit for this class.

Dr. Linda Kean taught media effects during the spring of 2005 and she was not very helpful when asking her questions. She even insulted me when I came into class one day. I am not sure how she became to communications department chair at ECU. Her attitude is not good at all. Also I believe that she shows favoritism toward certain students.

Spring 2007 was the first time I had a class with Dr. Kean, and I'm sad I haven't taken more with her. She is a very helpful professor and takes the time to sit and listen to her students. The class was informative and I recommend Dr. Kean to any Communication student. Attendance is mandatory, but who wouldn't want to attend her class?!?!

This is my last semester at ECU, and Dr. Kean is my all time FAVORITE teacher. I have taken her 3 times and gotten Bs in all of the classes. She is not easy, but you actually learn something. Thanks to her I got the job I actually wanted for when I graduate. You will learn relevant info in her class. I definitely recommend taking her.She is great

I made a C, but I realized if I studied I could have made an A. Very easy class. She gives a lot of extra credit, and she never takes attendance. I went twice (not including exam days) and made a high C. Plus all her notes are on Blackboard.

BORING. I never went to class, and the one time I did she put me to sleep. She posts all the notes on line and then just kinda reads over them in class. Take her if you can teach yourself things. The material is common sense and I got an extremly easy B in the class. Def. do the extra credit quizzes on Blackboard.

Professor Kean rocks!!! Gives examples for everything and tests are pretty straighforward. Go to class and listen..I pulled a B, but if I would've done all of the extra credit quizzes def. would've gotten an A...so do them!!!

Dr. Kean is a really good professor. Her examples are easy to understand, the class is interesting and her tests are dead easy. She's very willing to explain things if you don't understand and offers lots of chances to boost your grade. Strongly recommended.

Very good teacher. gives sufficient extra credit oppurtunities to raise your final grade-only three tests and no final-is extremely helpful and her uses very clear examples to further your understanding of the subject-I would def recommend her

One of the best teachers I've EVER had. She is is funny as uses relative examples when explaining concepts. She REALLY knows what she is talking about and posts all of her overhead notes, extra credit quizzes etc... on blackboard. GREAT class

She gives lots of extra credit and the class isn't really hard to begin with. Very interesting and she makes it fun telling silly stories. Good professor.
