Wonderful Professor! Lots of writing for a coms class. Lets you re-write for a better grade. I did each time and got an A in the class. You actually LEARN from her. Shes funny. 3 exams, quizzes every week. Too bad she retired this year :(

If you want an easy A, this is not the class to take. Nice lady though, and she really lets you make up work weeks after the due date. But if it becomes a habit, the work piles on top of you especially since she gives out assignment over assignment. Sometimes two at at time. Seemed to never catch a break in that class

she gives out quizzes out every week. really easy though because their is a study guide. plus she makes you do her assignments over for 3 times. so if you had a bad score you can retry. no final!

Very understanding of things that come up outside of class, but if you make it a habit then she will make a point to find out what is going on. Don't be afraid to speak in front of this class, she prepares you well and is very nice to those who get nervous. Sort of feels like a high school course with all the group projects assigned.

Really really nice lady. She wants you to do well and she likes people she sees are really trying. She does assign a lot of work...a few short papers, a few group projects. You almost never have to get up and speak by yourself. And if you do well in her class she is more than happy to write you a really nice recommendation letter.

Linda is very smart and a good professor. She can put you to sleep in class, but you can pass as long as you do the work and score pretty well on her tests. You have to be very specific and clear on the assignments. She is helpful and gets to know her students fairly well. Overall, she is a great professor and I recommend her.

VERY VERY nice teacher. Reminds me of elementary school. She really cares about you. Wish all teachers were like her. Her quizes and tests were a waste of time. Everything was simply common sense. We wasted so much time on those tests instead of preparing ourselves for presentations. She hardly gives full scores on assignments and expects you to re-write them. She is so critical & boring!

Her class is not boring, nor are her quizzes and exams hard. Her tests are only hard for those who are too lazy to read their course text and study. Otherwise she is very organized and makes the class very fun. She also has a workbook that explains all of her assignments in detail. The only way students can fail her class is if they don't do their homework assignments or don't attend class. Also, she makes students do a lot of public speaking and group activities.

the class isn't that easy since she has high expectations of the students, being placed in the learning communities it will help. she seems friendly but overall the class sounds so boring and alot of pplz want to fall asleep in there. the class doesn't seem interesting although it just help students to improve their oral communication skills. remember to study really hard in the class otherwise when it comes to quizzes or tests, u won't be able to pass if u don't study enough.
