I've had Null twice and made an A both times. It's really not as bad as people make it out to be. Yes, there's a lot of reading and her quizzes can be specific but as long as you read you can get most of it. As long as you show up on time and answer questions that let her know you read then you'll be fine.

I have no idea why some of yall complain about the professor when you got an A or a B in the course. Please grow up.

We had a quiz almost every class. Be prepared to read a lot. The final was 10 pages. She veers off topic pretty often so be prepared to not get the answer you needed.

Talks like she's from Canada, but said her accent was from "all over"?? You have to read every night and there is a quiz almost every day. The final was like 20 double-spaced, handwritten pages over almost every single one of the 15 books we read. She does dress very nice though, which is fun. Keep all the work she gives back to you.

Be prepared to read and read and read. there is a fairly high chance that at some point during the day she will quiz you on what you read. The final was 10 pages long (double spaced). She has a weird accent, I asked where it was from and she said "All Over"

It's mostly reading something, discussing that work, and taking a very brief quiz every class. Just make sure you do the readings and pay close attention to the discussions, and you'll do fine. Admittedly, the discussions are quite awkward. The tests aren't bad if you pay attention and do the readings.

She's not necessarily a bad professor, but she does expect a lot from you, especially when it comes to reading the material. For my Brit Lit class, we had to read all of Mansfield Park, eighty pages before every class for four days. She will help you if you need it, but she's very specific and nitpicky when it comes to your papers. She's all right.

grades papers hard. you will always get lowrr than an A if she has not checked it and you have not rebised at least twice. expects you to be amazing. WOULD NOT recommend. take someone else for english classes. the only class she likes is her jane austen class.

Null's class is awful. The only reason students go to class is for the pop quizzes because there is no discussion over the assigned works except for Null's off topic babbling. She will count you off for being tardy, but has been know to start class 10 minutes early or late. Don't ask questions in class or she'll patronize you in front of class.

Professor Null can be tough, but as long as you stay current with the reading assignment for that class and annotate at least a normal bit, you will be fine. In class she seems ruthless, but show genuine interest in the content, ask questions in class and outside and you will soon find that she loves what she does and is willing to help students.

Null has a very dry personality and doesn't care if you are dying and can't make it to class. I have never made a C on a paper before until I took her class. Her final is also a 1000 word hand written essay over 10 stories... it's the worst thing I have had to do in college. If at all possible avoid taking her!

She's pretentious, and she doesn't care about you at all. I had to miss class because of a funeral an she basically said, "that sucks." She's a terrible teacher who belies her class should be as important as your first born child. She told me I was a great writer but gave me a C- because I didn't say "Israeli" enough times. Truly an awful woman.

Dr. Null sin't as bad as everyone makes her out to be. She can be kinda intimidating but she is really sweet if you actually get to know her. There is a ton of outside reading. I mean a ton. But overall the quizzes she gives aren't that difficult. She is a very hard grader on essays though. Be ready to work!

I had a 4.0 going into this class, but will definitely not be coming out with that because of Linda! She assigns books and stories that are horribly boring to read and not what I ever expected to be reading in a World Lit course (i.e. nothing but Indian novels). She has a very self-important attitude, and seems to have no interest in her students.

Dr. Null is fairly difficult. She gives quizzes almost every day. You will have an assigned reading before every class. Sometimes she'll surprise you and there won't be a quiz. Her essays are difficult and she grades hard. The final was 2 questions. You had to write a min of 150 words each about 5 stories & a min of 100 words each about stories.

I hate this class... Null is terrible... I have made b's in my writing 1 & 2 classes and on all of the essays in these classes!! Now since I have been taking her, I am getting D's on my essays. Plus the class is soo boring! I will never take her again

You'll hate this class, but not half as much as she appears to hate teaching it. She seems less than thrilled to be teaching lower level English to people not interested in being English majors. I'd recommend her if you are into masochism.

Granted, there is A LOT of reading. She gives simple quizzes almost every day, as well. I'll even go as far as saying that I couldn't make higher than a B on any essay I turned in to her (but she told me that I was a great writer?). You have to work for your A. Plain and simple. I learned a lot from her class. This isn't a Gen-Ed course.

I am a mostly A sometimes B student and this class ruined my GPA. Granted I am not much of a reader but we had to read about 7 novels not including short stories. You have 4 question quizzes every class and the questions are very detailed. The tests are ridiculous and hard to finish. I can honestly say I learned nothing in her world lit class.
