Horrible teacher. Avoid if possible. She does not know her stuff. At the end of the semester, she said to our class that we most likely know more about strengths than she does by the time we finish the class. W/o her solutions manual she might fail the class herself!!!

In all honesty, professor Schadler is the worst teacher I have had at RPI. The only difference between herself and her students is that she has the solutions manual. She can't help with hw problems without the solutions manual and she often gets stuck and class and says "I don't understand what the solutions manual did here." Avoid this teacher.

The class average on tests was consitantly 15 to 20 points lower than the other sections. The final curve was more than a letter grade because of it.

Class can best be summed up by her quote, "You won't learn it, but it's on the final." Consistently didn't know material. Couldn't solve questions in class without her notes. Tests were on information she couldn't cover in class. Great TA, but you'd have to have one to make it through such a mess. Probably one of the worst classes I've ever had.

Totally reminded me of Chewbacca, and definitely the worst teacher I've encounted yet (but at least she spoke english). Totally intimidating, unclear about what was expected and/or on quizzes, and totally unhelpful when trying to get extra help. Avoid!

She is one of the best teachers that I've had. Her notes are very helpful, she gives practical and useful examples. Her tests are fair but tough she teaches you everything on them but she makes you earn your grade.
