Took online last semester. Very time consuming class, but you will learn more than you ever wanted to know about Microsoft Office 2007. Ms. Turpin-Foster is a real nice instructor. Course is too thorough for an introductory, and must complete 4 homework assignments per chapter when 2 or 3 would do.I don't recommend-way too time consuming.

Online. Complete chaos. Every assign and test took 3-4 wks to grade. Used excuses constantly:said she usually runs within 24-48 hrs. Extremely slow or no response to email. Students left to fend for themselves. Syllabus, useless. Said not her fault. Seemed to have better things to do. Class could have been fun, turned out to be a major frustration.

Can't seem to keep up with emails, hard to communicate with. Difficult to understand, not sure if its poor planning on her part or poor tools from the school as she claims. Lost homework of mine, wouldn't respond to communication about it. Distance learning course.

Linda was extremely helpful to me when I took IT101 distance learning. She understood the problems that can be experienced in a distance learning class. She was very nice and helpful in e-mail correspondence. The IT dept. at TVI really needs to improve this courses curriculum as it was really too much work. But, that is not Linda's fault.

She perhaps on purpose lost my homework. Sometimes disorganized and mind appears elsewhere and not on the topic. Her life seems more important than yours. With a lost homework dropped her since she was intent on giving me bad marks. Why? I don't know. Her loss anyways.
